In a town like Thimbleweed Park, a side career in photojournalism is the least of your problems...

Delores: A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure started out as a prototype for Ron Gilbert’s new point-and-click adventure game engine and grew into a fun little game. It is not a sequel to Thimbleweed Park and is probably missing all of the small bells and whistles that would make it a commercially viable game.

This was a challenging game to make because we had to use almost exclusively “found art” from Thimbleweed Park to create all new puzzles. Also because we couldn’t go outside IRL.

As a thank you to our fans, we are releasing it for free as something you can have fun with in these odd times. You don’t have to have played Thimbleweed Park to enjoy this mini-adventure. (But if you do enjoy it, why not check out Thimbleweed Park, hmm?)

Nice P&C Prototype

This was a nice Point & Click Adventure game prototype - based on Thimbleweed Park (don't expect a "full" game, and DO NOT play this before the previously mentioned title). Works in "complete checklist" iterations of 5 (up to 30 before actual game ending) - some with convoluted logic. Is a fun free experience, but expect Thimbleweed Park spoilers.

Needs to become a full game!

The game was great, but now I want a full game! Also, please release the source code of your engine under GPL! It could be nice to form and have a community of fandevs playing with it. Thank you.

Inventive free game

Rough around the edges due to the circumstances, but once you understand that going in, you're going to have a good time. The structure is fascinating and fun. The puzzles challenged me, and I enjoyed that. The photography element is fresh. What you do to get the needed shot ends up being the familiar over-the-top adventure game nonsense that just makes me feel warm inside.
