Description
SAY ANYTHING in Cryptmaster - the bizarre dungeon-crawling adventure where words control everything.


In the ancient past, four brave heroes banded together to destroy a terrible evil, giving their lives to save countless others. But now their eternal rest has been disturbed by the Cryptmaster, a capricious necromancer in whose thrall they must ascend through the buried strata of the city above them - the gloomy Bonehouses, mysterious Sunken Sea and freakish Downwood.


With the enigmatic Soulstone in hand, the four adventurers must recover their memories, solve whimsical puzzles and defeat outlandish enemies. From fishing and card games to bardic rap battles, finding the right word is the key to success. Who knows, maybe you'll even remember a little more than you bargained for...

Cryptmaster is a wickedly clever spin on the edutainment games of old. It combines good old fashioned typing with an underworld full up of gallows humour and eccentrics to meet, including its titular star. Spread the word, Cryptmaster is a must play indie.

Fun wordle like

Great dry humour and fun world.

The world is unique and the characters you interact with spirited. The gameplay feels very natural due to the vast amount of voiced responses. The voice acting and the dry wit of the cryptmaster makes each interaction a joy to experience. If you like BG3 due to the characters and interactions, then you will like this game. It is not as exquisite, however.

shockingly engaging typing game

fun, distinctive, novel, oddly evocative. Not a perfect game, but that's about all the criticism I feel like levelling. Riddles, real time combat, typing, cardgames, twenty questions. give it a rattle.

Unique Experience

Hilarious and inventive, always entertaining to see how the necromancer reacts to your antics. Also surprising how many voicelines he has in relation to you. Great unexpected soundtrack and a visual style I thought would get tiring but stays vibrant throughout. Highly reccommend
