CSD3?!: The Third Course

Cook, Serve, Delicious is back for a third helping. This time it goes back to its original gameplay loop where you build a menu based of a set of rules which changes depending on the city/route you are visiting. Instead of playing a day from opening to closing, you are now making multiple stop in a city in your food truck. These stops act as "Rush Hours" found in the previous two games. There are new quality of life features like pressing CTRL will serve all finished orders. Let that sink in a bit. You no longer need to type in 1, 2, 5, 7, 9 anymore; just hit CTRL and BAM, orders served. You can now strategize on what foods to prep in your holding station as the number of orders at the next stop will be provided. No longer will you blindly prep food in your holding stations. There also no more chores. (I will miss that gameplay feature). Buzz is also gone...? The upgrade system is back but it is in a progression tree. Example: You cannot immediately unlock increased holding station freshness until prerequisite upgrades are already purchased. CSD3?! is oozing of personality and quality. Each setting in the options screen is represented by logo signs. The keyboard setting is a Domino's like logo and the gameplay settings is a Krispy Kreme like logo. How cool is that? The game now features has voice acting from your two helper androids. Joanthan Geer is back with an amazing soundtrack. Cook, Serve, Delicious 3?! takes the best parts of the previous games and serves it to you in food truck portions. I highly recommend buying the game if you are looking for a hardcore cooking game or are a fan of the previous games. You won't be disappointed because you will be too busy chasing those perfect runs.

The fun and brilliance continues!

CSD3 starts off with its patented quirkiness and whisks us away (literally, there's a character named 'Whisk' that saves us!) onto a new adventure of cooking foods for hungry folks willing to put up with us. This time, we're on the road - prepping and serving old and new recipes from the previous games in our very own food truck. Players familiar with the other two CSD games should feel right at home with the gameplay and controls they have worked so hard to master, while also enjoying some new features that take the fun to new levels. The graphics, sound and music have all received a fresh coat of Newness while maintaining the style we love. Looking forward to continuing additions and developments that Chubigans (developer) is known for.

crazy game.

The game is CRAZY. Don't play this if you do not have a full belly and DO NOT play this in front of your hungry friends. I wish devs would activate GOG Connect so we can move our early games from Steam to GOG..

Fantastic cooking game

I have been playing this game for several weeks and I must say this game really deserved 5 whopping stars! In the past I played CSD on my mobile and tablet and was able to finish the game with perfection. The sequel CSD2 really was less fun. But with CSD3 the creator was back on correct track! In this game you work in a food truck and you have to serve a lot of people with delicious food and drinks at several stops. The arts that was put in the food and drinks are water-mouthering. And sometimes are inspiring me to cook some myself! :-) If you make only one very small stupid mistake by accident you will receive only a silver medal. And you really want to go for that gold medal! So you can repeat or restart the road track over and over again until you get the perfect run and thus the gold medal! The satisfaction received is huge. The game is not finished in several hours. I played the game for 48 hours and I just did 26% of the game! So I keep to have a lot of fun with this game in the coming months!

Nice sequel - at times too stressful

I loved CSD 1 + 2. With Number 3 I'm a bit torn between enjoying it and finding it annoying on the other hand. Sometimes it's a bit too busy - too much preparing stations with too less holding stations - it seems you don't even have the time to look, which meals are missing, because there is almost no waiting time left. Yes, indeed, rush hour was always stressful and with a hurry - but in CSD 3 I think it's a bit too much. When your food truck stops, you have to serve all the meals at once (as much preparing stations are available) - you could say, you only have rush hours now. The idea is strange, but well developed. Graphics and sounds are well done. I also like this game, but at times it is really hard - which reduced the fun factor - so I decided to give it only 4 stars.
