Description
Blood: Refreshed Supply follows Caleb, an undead gunslinger on a quest for revenge against his former demonic master, Tchernobog. Despite his once powerful position as a fearsome Cabal commander and one of Tchernobog’s “Chosen” few, Caleb and his fellow Chosen are betrayed by the dark god and slain for reasons unknown. Seeking answers and vengeance, Caleb rises from the grave to put a stop to Tchernobog and his murderous lieutenants once and for all.
Grab your Pitchfork and get ready to stab your way through 42 blood-soaked levels, while unlocking even more creative and effective implements of destruction along the way. Incinerate foes with weapons like the Flare Gun, Aerosol Can, and Napalm Launcher. Blast enemies straight to hell bundles of dynamite, shoot them full of holes with the Tommy Gun and Sawed-Off Shotgun, or tap into darker methods of annihilation with the game’s powerful Voodoo Doll and Life Leech offerings.
Use your arsenal of weapons to survive Tchernobog’s evil Cabal of loyal Cultists, Fanatics, Zealots, and Acolytes, along with swarms of hellish creatures from ruthless Zombies and flying Gargoyles, to water-dwelling Gill Beasts, screaming Phantasms, and firebreathing Hell Hounds.

The game is by no means unplayable, but at this price and since we already had Fresh Supply, I feel like this isn't acceptable.
Errors/Problems I noticed after playing the first level:
- Voxel sprites facing the wrong way everywhere.
- Missing sound bites and interactables.
- Missing cheats.
- Midis sounding weird in any mode/no soundblaster.
- Napalm launcher alt fire behaves weird.
Minor issues that I could easily overlook:
- Barebones options for enemy behavior.
- Rain effect is realllly bad to the point it shouldn't have been added.
I'm sure I would have found much more, but I just gave up on this version at this point. I do enjoy some of the modern features this version brings, but seriously, the original version, which runs amazing in Dosbox, is still better overall.
While Allegedly using the "Original Source Code" of Blood, it does not seem much different to the earlier Fresh Supply release, I was lucky to get this upgrade at a Discount but its current Price is Highway Robbery, Full of Bugs, with Broken Voxel Placement and Non-Interactable Objects, its actually even more buggy than the First Release of Fresh Supply, also, unlike the Steam Version, the DOS Version is absent from the GOG.com Release, though I do own the Original DOS Version (Both Standalone and when it was part of Fresh Supply), It seems that Nightdive Studios are losing their touch, either from High Workloads, Understaffing or through Greed, also, I cannot take their word on the "Eventual Release" of the Deathwish Addon, that combined with all the Bugs, It makes me think that this game and the Development of this Port might end up being Abandoned. I suggest to stick with the Original DOS Version and use an Source Port such as NBlood or Raze for an Definitive Blood Experience.
Asked for refund after 30 minutes. Same game, slightly improved visuals, some free mods and old maps and other "Vault" crap included for $30? No thanks. Total ripoff.
Let me put any doubt aside: Blood was a f*ing masterpiece and such stands even today, and that's the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1! Gory, funny, visceral...really 3DRealms at its best together with Duke3D.
But if you as Nightdive are asking me 28 euros you'd better deliver a REMAKE, not just a very slightly different remaster with one more scenario to your account.
I'll stay with Fresh Supply, thanks but no thanks
I already own Fresh Supply which was a remaster, why would I want to buy another remaster? Fix your work in the first place or give owner of Fresh Blood this for free as we are already paying customers.
