ALARIC is officially supported on Windows.

Does ALARIC have DRM?

No! GOG games have no DRM and can be played without an internet connection, totally offline. Some bonus content might require an internet connection to download, but we do our best to limit that need. Read more about DRM.

Do you need GOG Galaxy to play ALARIC?

No! You do not need GOG Galaxy to play ALARIC. GOG gives you the option to download a fully offline installer and install ALARIC that way, without using GOG Galaxy. GOG Galaxy is used for synchronization of achievements and cloud saves, but its usage is totally optional. Read more about GOG Galaxy.

Cool but extremely flawed

The game looks and sounds pretty cool, however the game itself feels very rough. It's like a poor man's Ultrakill or something Also the store page says "Controller support" which is technically true, but you can not remap any actions and the layout you are stuck with is extremely uncomfortable, along with none of the controller's inputs be labeled in game. It's all guess work. I also died and the game locked up. No death screen or way to reset without forcefully closing the game. That may have been a one time bug, but it's enough for me to ask for a refund at this point.
