I've only played the demo which has only a small portion of the early-access version of the game but found it hits all the right notes. Through it twice now on other platforms and would think that GOG would be the best place for something this great! Lots of pirate games out there but the base-building, resource harvesting, crafting, upgrading, exploration and combat make this GOG-worthy.

GOG, have you guys tried the demo over on Steam? You gotta try and get this! UE5 engine, adventuring, crafting, co-op, it has a lot going for it. Please have a look.

GOG, you need more games like Enshrouded on your platform, but unfortunately you're lagging behind, perhaps due to licensing issues with developers and the associated costs. It would be fantastic if you could make something like this possible. Since Enshrouded isn't available on your platform, I was forced to buy it elsewhere. However, since I'd rather support you, I would be very happy if you added Windrose to your catalog; then you'd definitely have my purchase from you.
I love crafting, survival and pirate games. This is all three in one! I can hardly wait to play this but more than that I like owning my games. Sure, I have a great many games on steam, epic and gog but gog needs to host more mainstream games like this so we can have true ownership and not renting.
I'd rather not have to take to the high seas to play this with me maties when having fun with a Lan party with large beers and larger internet dropouts! (most LAN parties have terrible internet tbh) Allows for self hosted servers and PVE play. It's already like 90% there for the perfect drunk LAN party game. If it's added to GoG, I will MAKE SURE this game get's AT LEAST another 10 purchases.
Have it on steam, THIS is the Pirate game of Pirate games. It is a must have! Ever since Blackflag I have wanted a proper Pirate game and well here it is. There is no reason to get the Blackflag remake, just play Windrose.

We need this! This is Black Flag with Open World! This game is a sure thing, it sells itself. It has everything you could want, and I want to see GOG's cash registers ringing too! ;D
Bought it last month on that other storefront. This is a legit good game and I wish I could've bought it on Gog although I know sometimes updates on Gog can take a little longer so maybe not my favourite platform for Early Access, but it's an incredibly promising game already and I've put 151 hours in it thus far. If not brought onto Gog while it is in Early Access, then at least once it's properly out. I'd happily buy it again. The game reminds me a bit of Sid Meier's Pirates!, but with a significant splash of Man O' War: Corsair(Other people have said AC: Black Flag and I think I can see that from what little I've seen of that game, but Corsair is the comparison I can make). The character creation is good, the sailing and sea battles are fun, the building is really good although you don't have a lot of stuff to build initially, but part of the gameplay loop is gaining Guineas to buy new patterns and blueprints to make things. You can also find additional building stuff on islands or via quests. I love the sea shanties and sailing songs although I hope they add more, I'd love to see songs like "Ben Backstay", "Spanish Ladies" and "Don't Forget Your Old Shipmate" added to the game, but it IS in Early Access so we'll have to wait and see. The procedural generation of worlds is good too and makes for a lot of easy replayability.
It is absolutely a beautiful game and it can only get better from here. There aren't many indie developers who put so much detail into a game that has about a quarter of the size of the triple A games do.
Those games also need your vote!
Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
