Story:
Like the previous title, Theme Park World tasks players with managing a series of amusement parks. To do this, the player must choose how to spend their available funds, finding a way to expand the number and scope of their parks while remaining profitable. Income from the park can be used to purchase new rides or attractions, hire staff to maintain the park, and other similar functions. Various elements can be controlled by the player, such as the name of the park, the price of admission, the layout of the roller-coaster tracks, and the quality of food in the park restaurants. An ant-like announcer by the name of Buzzy, voiced by Terry McGovern in the American-tailored Sim Theme Park and Lewis MacLeod in UK release Theme Park World, helps the player with advice during gameplay.

Played this game for hours and hours with a friend. Even wachting her building her park was so much fun. Sometimes we just sat besides each other building parks, laughing, talking. On every PC or Laptop I had it was one of the first games I installed and always came back to it when I needed some easy entertainment. I really hope we'll get it back on GOG. Can't wait to play it again!LilaFleur

I played this as Theme Park World. The variety of themed parks, the uniqueness of each ride and going beyond its predecessor's fixed videos on a handful of rides with in-engine experience of your own park! I'd love to be able to play this again.

As a kid who was obsessed with RollerCoaster Tycoon, eventually I wanted to branch out and see other amusement park games. At some point, I received a small bundle of Maxis "Sim-" games and one of these was Sim Theme Park. My computer at the time struggled a bit with the fully 3D polygonal graphics but that didn't stop me from having an absolute blast with this game. It's a rock solid game with charming graphics that, in my opinion, feel as signature as the art style of the first two RCT games. I never played the first Theme Park game (might grab it on the current summer sale) so I don't know how it compares, but this one always felt like it emphasized casual fun rather than complex designs or business simulations. In a lot of ways, it's even more kid-friendly than RCT ever was, but I seem to remember it was still complex enough that I still enjoyed it as a teenager. I still have my CD copy of the game and I haven't tried getting it to run on my modern PC but I'd really love to have this game preserved and released on GOG!
I have played my hard copy of the Theme park world game almost every year since i was about 6 when i played it all the time with my parents and little sister. Really helped me understand management and money as a kid haha. Ofc now it no longer works even with patching and my sister and I miss the game so much. I feel like the humor and management system holds up even if its considered a kids game.

Please make it happen. On the european market it was released as "Theme park world", and i had it with full dubbed language (Polish). I have all but lovable memories from this game. And please include All languages this game was released with, they can still be found on the web but its harder every year to find this game and make it work on modern systems. Instabuy from me.

This game is one of the BEST Theme Park SIM / Tycoon. Please make it work in modern OS especially Linux. With RetroAchievements integrated. Please. This Game is very special to me
This game has a close place to my heart, It's a game I've played for hundreds of hours as a kid on my first PC. I've been really wanting to play this again for close to a decade now.. I hoped to find it on GOG but sadly it's not on there yet. This would be a day 1 buy for me. Please bring this game to GOG! Thank you!
I grew up playing RollerCoster Tycoon on the PC and love it a lot, and I also grew up with a PlayStation, and one game a relative of mine had was this one. At that time, going from the (beautiful) isometric 3D of RCT to the cool 3D of Sim Theme Park was so mind blowing! I couldn't play it much back then, but what I did played was so much fun, so would be awesome to have it on PC and finally play it like its deserve! This game and RCT are the reason I love Tycoon type simulation games!
it was one of the first games i got on the PC from my grandpa when i was growing up and every time i watch you tube videos on it i remember him and i can hear his voice again and it makes my day ive also been looking into build a PC for windows 98 just so i could play old games like this again like C&C red alert and sims city

Those games also need your vote!
Black & White
Black & WhitePlay the role of a deity in a land where the surroundings are yours to shape and its people are yours to lord over. Be an evil, malevolent god and the natives will worship you with fear in their eyes. Play as a kind, benevolent god and they will worship you with love in their hearts. Your actions decide whether you create a heaven or hell for your worshipers. Then select a creature from the land to act as your representative in the world. Raise it to gigantic proportions and teach it to do your bidding--whether the animal grows into an evil colossus of mass destruction or a kind and gentle giant is up to you. Progress through the game's rich storyline performing powerful miracles to battle other deities and become the world's supreme god.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
