It was really a breath of fresh air i wasnt expecting when i played it at a buddies house of mine. It was like nothing i had played before because it made me strategize. Surprisingly good especially since most games based on movies usually are lack luster but this one shines. Deadwejght

Played the hell out of it back when I bought it on disc. It was one of few games that ran on my bad laptop back in the day and was actually playable. I also had a thing for RTS back when so this one was perfect for me + didn't take ages to load for my bad laptop. Either way the gameplay, story, music, missions. All solid and it's a shame it's nowhere to be found without sailing the high seas. I would recommdn mostly to lotr and RTS fans but it's one of these games I think I could recommend to almost everyone.

I will never forget purchasing this game after my love of the first one (WHICH ALSO NEEDS TO FREE FROM EA.) The mechanics were phenomanal, the story was great, and the graphics were incredible. Lord of the rings fans are diehards, and a product being released that is good(Not rings of power) will be supported.

my friend was telling me about this game a lot when we are young to young and he couldn't bring the game for me and then we dont have internet imagine it was back then like 15 years or something

Ah The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle earth 2, this game i do remember from way back, that game is the second generation from the previous one, also because with my GOG app will be quite useful to make a difference for my pc gaming way

Played it 15y ago with my family and friends. The Edain Mod was great, vastly increasing the number of factions. Although it's more accessible than ever via the bfme arena, it currently hinges completely upon that team to keep that level of accessibility up. Having GOG protecting this game and making it accessible too would be wonderful.

a childhood favorite game. had some fun and hilarious moments when i played with my little bro in multiplayer. Would to play this game with my friends and replay the campaign.

Last time i tried pirating it i got a virus i want to play this again so bad but aint risking it on my brand new pc they dont make rts games like this anymore i miss turtling up on the 3v1 castle map and seeing how long i can survive against hard bots lol

The strategic map of Middle-earth in addition to the real time battles made this game special. In my version this never worked properly, but the idea was very good and hopefully GOG could make a fully-working version.

I literally still own this game but don't have an xbox 360 to play it on. Its so good I'll buy it again. $70 if I have to. Perfect game, best RTS. Onehundredsixtyseven

With a hero characters similar to the Warcraft series you control both the armies and all the unique heroes. The game follows the movies very closely and even got scenes from the films appear in game. Not only does the game contain a giant campaign where you play through the journey of the ring as the good side, the game also features an evil campaign where as the players play as the evil forces of Middle Earth. With multiple diffrent races from all over Middle Earth, a giant spell tree to customize your game and a unique basebuilding layout the game was great for its time.
