I always enjoyed Mega Man games but I loved Mega Man Legends. As soon as I finished it I went out to find the sequel and never could. I would love for both games to become available on PCkatehershberger

I remember getting this game out of the clearance section of Walmart when I was four. I spent countless hours immersed in the land of Katelox. This game will forever hold a place in my heart.

Mega Man Legends is like a playable cartoon series. Exploring Kattelox Island really is like going on an adventure in some animated world. Great characters, amazing visuals, and lots to discover. I loved combing over every inch and speaking to every character to see what else was there. No other game has ever given me quite same feeling. Not even Legends 2.
A game that many people that played the game loved back then. Never had a chance to play it when my memory card for my PS1 was corrupted and I didn't fully have the sentience at the time to ask my parents to let me buy a new one. The game was great for as far I was able to get before I had to turn the game off. To be able to legitimately purchase this game on GoG would give me the chance to go through the game that everyone felt melencholy about the series not finishing the moment I get to MMLegends 2, but maybe, just maybe. We would be able to convince Capcom to make a third game for the series and finish up the game's story for good.
This game changed how a megaman story can be told. I bought this when I was a kid at target and was WOW a new megaman game. This game is what made me get a memory card for the playstation. This was my favorite blue bomber game at the time. Mega man legends 2 is another grate classic. I tried to collect the legend series on all the platforms. I have it for playstation and i'm trying to get it for the N64. If GOG releases it on this platform, I'm going to pick it up as well. This will let Capcom know that the legend series is still loved and people still want it. We gotta get mega off the **** already. It's been like *checks internet* 25 years already. The whole game is magical and everyone should have the ability to check this out. Thank you GOG for even considering this game and thank you also for keeping video game preservation alive.
Mega Man Legends – A Cult Classic That Deserves Preservation Mega Man Legends marked a bold step forward for the iconic franchise. Released in the late ‘90s, this 3D action-adventure game took Mega Man beyond side-scrolling stages and into a vibrant, explorable world full of charm, mystery, and heart. With its anime-inspired storytelling, dungeon crawling, and RPG elements, Legends felt like a fresh start while staying true to Mega Man’s heroic spirit. Players take on the role of MegaMan Volnutt, a “Digger” exploring ancient ruins and battling Reaverbots in search of treasure and answers. The game’s visual style, voice acting, and heartfelt characters made it unforgettable. The music is catchy and emotional, and the atmosphere has a unique sense of wonder few games from the era could match. Sadly, Mega Man Legends is hard to access today, having never received a proper digital re-release. GOG would be the perfect platform to give this cult classic the second life it deserves, DRM-free and compatible with modern PCs. It’s time to let fans—and a whole new generation—revisit one of Capcom’s most underrated gems.

Only played and beaten this game on the N64, but heard the PS1 version is a lot better, which I am not surprised. So, the PS1 would definitely be the one to preserve. Heard the game is a mixed bag a bit, but still a good game. Learn there was going to be a 3rd, but never happened since the creator thought nobody would be interested, which is complete B.S. This it would be nice to see a new 3D MegaMan game someday, maybe with a great interesting story and be able to fight maybe classic Boss Robots and maybe some new ones and be more open world with missions.
I remember, being told by my friend at the time named Travis that this game was at Walmart for 20 bucks. I begged my mom to take me there after school. I played other Mega Man games before but the prospect of Mega Man in 3D was too enticing to pass up. What followed, was easily my favorite experience playing a Mega Man game. It was different, it was interesting, and it was timeless. I loved how the game kept you on one Island. While, this may seem like a detriment on paper, being able to take the journey and see all the people on the island react to the events that are going on along with you is something that is rarely done, and it was a whole lot of fun. You really felt like you were part of that world. The entire series is a lot of fun, but there's just something special about this first one, because it's more than just your typical Mega Man experience. It's definitely ahead of its time when you think about it. It's just a fun experience, that develops in a unique way,and I'd love to see it here.
Like Breath of Fire 4, which released it's original PC port on GOG with updated support, so too can Mega Man Legends be blessed with a restoration of it's original PC port. Nothing is impossible, so, just go for it!
One of my favorite PS1 games of all time and my favorite Megaman game of all time! Beautifully cel shaded style that sits among one of the best looking PS1 games ever, animated cutscenes (with nearly full voice acting) before they became the norm, lock on system before Ocarina of Time. This game pioneered SO much for the industry and never got the respect it so rightfully deserved
Those games also need your vote!

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
