Story:
Grand Theft Auto IV is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the eleventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and the first main entry since 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The game is played from a third-person perspective and its world is navigated on-foot or by vehicle. Throughout the single-player mode, players play as Niko Bellic. An online multiplayer mode is included with the game, allowing up to 32 players to engage in both co-operative and competitive gameplay in a recreation of the single-player setting. Two expansion packs were later released for the game, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, which both feature new plots that are interconnected with the main Grand Theft Auto IV storyline, and follow new protagonists.

Oh dear, I do not miss the PS3 performance of this title... but it still had a lot of charm! Countless afternoons playing it, either alone or with friends along and laughing at Roman's business plans. Would love to see it on GOG, preferably with the known performance issues mostly fixed. It's a long shot, given we all know the stance of Rockstar on ditching DRM/Social Club... but never stop dreaming!TheStrangeFlan

Used to play this game from sundown to sunset during middle school and I've bought it 3 times for PC (GFWL), Steam and Xbox. It got me through a lot in the early 2010s - present day. The music, characters, its cold and dreary atmosphere are my favorite in the entire franchise. Especially the alluring and unforgettable setting of Liberty City, I know that city better than my own surroundings. Truly one of a kind. The only major problem with this game is the terrible DRM that makes this game a pain in the ass to mod and launch. Making this game DRM free and truly preserved on PC would be a big win for us fans that can't get enough of GTA 4!
GTA IV is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the Grand Theft Auto series and perhaps the best and most innovative game of the seventh generation. GTA V was bigger, but felt like less of a leap forward from it's predecessor and did a lot of things worse (physics and melee combat for instance). It's surprising that GTA IV hasn't been re-released due to it being the highest selling game at the time of its release, it's since been surpassed, but it was a huge success critically and commercially in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Some features of GTA IV have been lost to time. When the Lost and Damned expansion pack first released as DLC it did an interesting thing with the in game radio stations, the new radio content from the DLC and the base game merged together so when you played Lost and Damned you'd still be able to hear all of the music and radio shows from the base game. This feature doesn't exist in the later Ballad of Gay Tony or the Episodes From Liberty City release of GTA IV which included both expansions. In the EFLC releases, the expansion packs contain the music and radio content from each other but not the base game. If this game comes to GOG, I would love to have an option to play Lost and Damned as it originally operated as a DLC integrating with the main game, not the way it does in EFLC. GTA IV is an essential title and a game I have a lot of nostalgia for. I lived in New York City in 2008, so a lot of the locations and the cultural references really connect with me. The idea of this game with it's unique 2008 nostalgic vibes and grimy visuals disappearing from culture is soul crushing. Please Free this game from it's DRM shackles!!

I want this on GOG fully patched, but Sam Houser & Strauss Zelnick doesn't want this game on GOG. Because Sam loves his stupid launcher, than his own mother. Strauss even loves DRM, because it gives him money and it's the only game that made him money, so he allowed the other games to be pirated. Which is a shame. Fusion Fix didn't really help for me, neither whatever Ultimate ASI Loader bull$#!t that needed to be use for the game to work properly. So when people say they love GTA IV, I asked them which one? The god awful PC or the console ones? The Xbox 360 is superior, since it's my go to go way to play the game. You might not be able to mods stuff, but if you want the vanilla, crash-free and best experience, console is the best solution. If GOG team put this on GOG, then I hope they f@#%!n remove the Custom Sabotage DRM that Sam Houser implement, mod-friendly, all removed songs restored. and a bunch of other QOL fixes. And I got a message to Sam Houser. Let go your stupid launchers and embrace DRM-FREE. It's fun here.

One of the best games ever made, but unfortunately also one of the worst PC ports ever made. Hopefully we can get this on the GOG Preservation Program. Until then, check out FusionFix. It's a huge open-source community project full of fixes that makes the PC port actually playable along with tons of faithful improvements. If GOG get their hands on GTA IV, then FusionFix will be their best source of information for preserving the game.

My favorite GTA game, oh yeah! This is a magnifique game, bringing a very human main character dealing with a dark past, not a hollywoodian sociopath who kills and feels nothing. Niko is a murderer, but that's not something he's proud of, and his cousin's obsession with bowling is to blame, mostly than the war and its scars. This game has the most realistic driving mechanics in a videogame ever, a dark storyline with realistic shooting and profound characters with deep stories to be told. Some people might not find this game fun, but everybody who've played it long enough knows how memorable it is. It should be a human right to preserve this game forever.

I remember it being one of the first games I ever got on the Xbox 360 back in high school. I played through it over and over, countless times. I've since lost both in a house fire, so the only accessible way to play it is on PC now. Unfortunately due to the Steam port's instability, I'd hardly call it playable. It would be nice to have it in my collection again.

Actually, I'm not interested in GTA series at all. Not my kind of an open-world. Anyway, no game can be loved by everyone. But the very idea of preserving a significant game is important and it's a thing I firmly believe should be done. No matter whether I personally like it or not. Getting rid of DRM should help to preserve the game a great deal.
Those games also need your vote!

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Like the previous entries, Silent Hill 3 is a survival horror combining action-based combat and puzzle-solving, but is somewhat more combat-oriented than the preceding installments.
