Story:

Diablo III is the third installment in Blizzard's franchise. The game, like its predecessors, is a dungeon crawler in which the player fights against hordes of enemies ranging from beasts and undead to actual demons. The game has four acts, two game modes (normal and hardcore) as well as four difficulty levels: Normal, Nightmare, Hell and Inferno. A new addition to Diablo III is the auction house, where items are exchanged for in-game gold or real money, also usable to purchase Blizzard merchandise. Diablo III has great level design a good selection of class's to play and a nice skill system in the game I just like every thing about this game, I played this game with a lot of different people and I had a lot of fun play Diablo III solo and with others.

One of the first video games that I remember, and one that started a family tradition of my mom and my sister and I sitting by the computer and watching as my dad played video games. You might not think it would be an especially entertaining show for two little kids but we loved it and it was time we spent as a family

This was my first Diablo game I played. I was instantly hooked and the killer for me was Blizzard's portal and the fact it had to be online. If they put this on GOG it's an INSTANT grab for me and my wife because she's super interested in playing it too. I love what GOG is doing and I always try to give a little more than the game is priced at so they can keep releasing absolute bangers of history without the pesky DRM or the need for online.

Diablo III is a great game trapped behind an always-online wall. We need a DRM-free, offline version on GOG, just like the classic Diablo 1 and 2. Also, the Brazilian community has been playing Diablo for decades, so keeping the PT-BR dubbing (which is excellent) is mandatory. Let us truly own the game!

While a lot of people think this is the 'cartoony' Diablo, I personally found it to be my favorite version, and one I kept going back to again and again. Something about the story, the characters, and the way it all looked (I actually liked how 'colorful' it all was compared to others, and saw it as a natural evolution of the series from Diablo I & II). The seasons really added something cool IMO and I found myself trying a new class every time to just keep things fresh. It's not perfect, but adding it to GOG would give it an offline mode which the game sorely needed.

i'm one of the many psychos that actually likes Diablo 3 cause its fun had it on ps3 100% the game eventually got a pc but noticed the only place to get it is on Blizzards site and i gotta install their battle net. . . and it costs alot despite being like over 13 years old at this point just all around sucks so GOG please save us i beg you also having it offline would be super nice too

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
