I first got to play this as a browser game years ago as a fallout inspired post apocalyptic business and trading game. It had remarkably intricate mechanics like hunger and thirst being effected differently by eating different foods, being able to acquire pack animals and carts or even motor vehicles and having to manage forage and fuel consumption and combat where the enemies had a moral system and a variety of different weapons and armor. But what i remember most about this game was a unique story that managed to be intriguing and at times downright hilarious. One of the most memorable moments for me was the religious cult that's trying to leave a certain town. if you help them they give you a copy of their scripture which is a collection of Chuck Norris jokes. This game tends to wear it's politics on it's sleeve at times (the apocalypse was brought about by global warming) it's still a game full of charm and a lot of content if you're willing to look for it. And it's now on Steam so hopefully there's a chance it can come to GOG too.
