Oni
Oni
user avatar@KolobamanacasIt is hard to express how deeply I love the game. It is best of a class story-driven 3rd person beat 'em up game with shooting and stealth elements of its time! I'm huge fan of its music, visual style, cyberpunk setting and THE story. Not to mention that Oni together with Shogo definitely helped to raise anime popularity, which was not that mainstream back then. I would love to have it in my collection.

Jak and Daxter Collection
Jak and Daxter Collection
user avatar@philscheuring_6951One of the first games I ever played, really hope it gets enough votes so future generations can enjoy this game, especially a high quality version. The most challenging is Jak 2 in my opinion but what really made this game unique is the mechanics and the story as well, hope you guys eventually do Jak X as well so that all the Naughty Dog games can be here as well
The World Ends With You: Final Remix
The World Ends With You: Final Remix
user avatar@omar.s.omar93_5500This game shaped a generation and brought out the best of the DS. It deserves to be preserved. I hope that everyone experiences this game(and its wonderful sequel, NEO: The World Ends with You).
Dreams
Dreams
user avatar@rhodochrone1_5665This is a HIGHLY polished platform for games and creativity that's still groundbreaking and unmatched today. Its potential after a decade of development and a huge investment from Sony has been squandered. If it got multiplayer support and could take advantage of modern hardware it would be a huge leap forward for digital expression and escapism. I've sat in VR, in a beautifully lit, intricate environment I swiftly sculpted around me with my own hands, with glossy logic chips floating in space around me like I'm Tony Stark. I could reach out and visually map the flow of behaviours in my scene. You can do everything within a continuous 3D space, from actual music production, to animation, to gameplay logic to sculpture, all without a loading screen or even a change in your interface. To do this with other people, to be immersed in your own worlds, as whatever you want to be, expressing yourself to your finest limits of ability, always advancing, is a vision I don't see anyone coming as close to as Dreams did, at least for a long while. I dreamt for many years through my teens of Dreams being filled with people and dynamism, but the project was tapered off before true liftoff. R&D for multiplayer never completed. It's a world of possibility, but one limited by PS4 hardware, and one where you're quite alone. It's a huge waste.
Bionicle Heroes
Bionicle Heroes
user avatar@Esitaro3670This was one of ym favorite games as a kid since i was really into LEGO or to be more speciffic Bionicle from MOCs, stop motion video and even nu-metal rock, this was one of my favorite games to play on the Gamecube and i would love to see this game being re-released again so people feel like teenagers mashing bunch of Bionicles to create the biggest MOC they can come up with, also fun fact, the theme song of the game was used for a commercial here in Mexico to announce the aperture of a Mall called Galerias Hipodromo, go check out the theme song and the commercial and tell if it sounfd the same; either way, hope we can bring this game to PC, don't care if it's just a port with some quality of life updates, i feel everyone deserve to play this game at least once and feel like a pre-teenager again!
Digimon World
Digimon World
user avatar@GustaboMomosHonestly, I've never played digimon world 1, but as far as i know it was one of the biggest inspirations for the developer team of digimon world re:digitize decode, one of my favourite video games ever, that game made me discover my love for the digimon franchise, it's designs, it's community, even the bad games tbh, along with digimon adventure (even if I don't like it), Digimon world made all this possible, love you re:world, thanks for everything!
Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy
Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy
user avatar@iBreadyI always wanted to play this game , I can't run it because of my modern system :)) Until now I just watched videoclips from this game and I want the experience too.
Z
Z
user avatar@SPY_speche game is already available on GOG under the name Z: The Game by TickTock Games / Kiss. Unfortunately, many players have mentioned that it is a port from mobile systems and lacks features from the DOS/Win95 versions. I request a standalone release of the Win95 or DOS version of Z or the inclusion of the original game as part of the current purchase.
MechCommander 2
MechCommander 2
user avatar@Mark_twian007This game was my introduction to both the MechCommander world and RTS games in general and I loved it when I first played it and loved it years later, and still love it now, but it's just gotten so hard to play. I could probably make it work by setting up some emulation but that's a little deeper than I want to go to replay a game. But I miss being called "skipper" when I'm being told about weapon upgrades and all the full movie videos from the characters are Gold.
Vagrant Story
Vagrant Story
Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2
Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2
user avatar@AtomicLugiaThis game is basically Drakan but without dragons and more futuristic. I love some of the maps have this futurism combined with nature, it's really awesome! Also the game has some awesome music and insane sound effects, it's literally a blast to play. Also, you can use a sword and a UZI at the same time, what's not to love? I would love to see this on GoG soon!
SimCopter
SimCopter
user avatar@CorvinaBlackThis game is a broken mess and i love it. I spent so many hours flying around these cities unlocking new helicopters. Uploading my own sim city 2000 cities to navigate through. This is one of those games that we'll never see the light of day of you don't bring it back.
Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds
Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds
user avatar@tommyoungThis is one of the most authentic to source material games I have ever played. I distinctly remember being around 15 years old when I used to wake up at 5am so I could play this (and Police Quest SWAT 2) for a couple of hours before everyone else got up and I had to get ready for school. I can get my original CD copy running in a Virtual Machine but I cannot seem to get the music to play off the CD unfortunately - which just strips the atmosphere away. I know this is a cult favourite not a mainstream money spinner but I'm still sad to see such a small number of votes for such a great game. I would love to experience this in its full glory once again and hopefully get some belated, but thoroughly deserved, affection.
The Secret World
The Secret World
user avatar@notarikonThe Secret World was a unique MMO that stood out due to its modern-day setting infused with rich mythology, conspiracy theories, and Lovecraftian horror, creating an atmosphere unlike any other in the genre. Its story-driven experience was unparalleled, featuring fully voiced dialogue, deep world-building, and intricate ARG-style puzzles that required players to research real-world history, cryptography, and lore to progress. The classless skill system allowed for immense build customization, encouraging experimentation and adaptability, and its commitment to immersive storytelling, including morally complex choices and dynamic NPC interactions, made the game feel more like an interactive thriller than a traditional MMORPG.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time
Spider-Man: Edge of Time
user avatar@SuperZayian9This gave me and my brother some amazing memories on PS3 and it should be preserved and made readily available because despite some flaws, there is a solid story here
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment
user avatar@katsuyasmusebest character writing in the persona series hands down, not a competition, nobody else could even get close save for megami ibunroku persona. how do i even start? this probably isn't the game to put on GOG first (both p1 and p2is have info this game sorely needs in order to be enjoyed at its best; either or is fine, but going in w/o either is a recipe for disaster), but it absolutely needs to be on GOG as an example of some of atlus's best writing of adult characters exploring what it means to discover who they are years after they chose their path in life. coming of age is a moment in time, but growth is a lifelong process that means there's always room for better, always room for change. every character in this game has regrets and grief, and they want to become better. they embody a range of feelings towards the many parts of themselves; one character rejects the person they were bc of a life-altering trauma, only to ignore that their 'new' self is rooted in a desire for revenge, w nothing after that catharsis to live for, leaving them a shell of jaded bitterness and snappy one-liners all so they can run from their suicidality. another character leaps from vice to vice, unhappy w the life they've chosen but feeling trapped in it so they can help those around them, ignoring their own misery. the main character's writing is wrapped up in facades and reading btwn the lines, and if you look hard enough, she's living for everyone else so she won't have to face herself. these are compelling characters unlike anything atlus has done since w the persona series; it's no wonder ppl keep asking for another game w an adult cast. i can't recommend this game enough, especially to those w discontent in adulthood or eager for a different take on the jrpg formula. this game is Different. i have my gripes w it, but there's no denying it's something special, and should be preserved and enjoyed by so many more gamers given its niche status on PS1 in the west. GOG, all i ask,,,!
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth Anthology
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth Anthology
user avatar@Rath_DarkbladeI already reviewed the two "Battle for Middle-earth" games separately (see their individual pages for details), but I am voting for this one because it includes the "Rise of the Witch-King" expansion for "Battle for Middle-earth 2". This expansion improves the game enormously. :-) As for "the Battle for Middle-earth" games? There is so much to cover! The first game, LOTR: Battle for Middle-earth, allows you to play as members of the Fellowship as well as Rohan, Gondor, Isengard, and Mordor. Like all RTS games, you can build a base, train units and try to take your opponent's base - but there is much, much more to this game. You travel through Middle-Earth, seeing the sights and getting attacked by your enemy (and you can play either the "Good" or "Evil" side). The attacks come relentlessly, so almost from the start, the game puts you under pressure. It's up to you to resist the attacks, drive your enemy back, and go on the offensive -- either to free Middle-Earth from Mordor, or to crush it under your armoured boot! :-) In "Battle for Middle-earth 2", you can explore what happens in Middle-earth while the Fellowship is off doing their own thing. There are more factions (e.g. Dwarves, Elves, Goblins etc.), and you can also hunt for Gollum and use the One Ring to ... whoops, I won't spoil it. :-) In the expansion, "Rise of the Witch-King", you travel back to the Second Age and see the rise of the Witch-King of Angmar. You might remember him: he fights Gandalf in Gondor, and slays King Theoden, only to be slain by Eowyn and Merry. But who is this enigmatic figure, and where did he come from, and what did he do before the War of the Ring? This expansion answers your questions, and is very fun too. In short, I recommend this game very highly. Two thumbs up, way up!
Mega Man Legends
Mega Man Legends
user avatar@KangashiWhole series needs to be available!! Megaman in general has a special place in my heart and legends series specially since were the first games i was able to beat on my own as a kid. countless afternoons spend on this games and the other from the series would be a blast if everyone is able to get them forever.
Fable II
Fable II
user avatar@SleazefrogFable 1 and 2 are both incredibly important, helping to shape the action game umbrella and intentionally going against the grain to redefine the concept of role-playing video games. While the first is on PC in the form of a Steam release, it is unfair to new and old generations alike that Fable 2 and 3 are trapped on consoles that aren't manufactured, anymore. GOG releases would mean much for the preservation of video game history. As an aside, I've noticed that many people are voting for Fable: TLC over the others. I'll point out that Fable: TLC is already DRM-free; while you must purchase it through Steam, you own it once you do and can run it without Steam even being installed. And you can link the executable to GOG Galaxy. If you're going to vote in this initiative, I encourage you to make sure that what you're voting for isn't already DRM-free and to prioritize games that haven't had the chance to come to PC in any form.
Ravager
Ravager
user avatar@ibloodyhatevaloranHands down, this is a well-written dark fantasy erotic game, featuring a rich story with both lovable and hated characters. It offers a wealth of content and numerous choices that shape the narrative around you.

God of War
God of War
user avatar@Chris_890Unbelievable how the old God of Wars are still stuck on old consoles or just emulation. Played the entire trilogy plus the spinoff on the psp and enjoyed them all (for me they are even better of the newest ones). Really hoping Santa Monica or another studio under it remember to bring this masterpiece of a series on new hardwares!
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth
The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth
user avatar@Exist2InspireOne of the best licensed games ever made and a damn good RTS as well. Definitely deserves a re-release. The recreations of the battles at Helms Deep or Minas Tirith are awesome and playing the campaign from either perspective (good or evil) was very memorable and fun.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Red Faction
Red Faction
In Red Faction, you play Parker, a weary miner who works for the corrupt Ultor Corporation. You reside on Mars, sometime in the future, and when a plague spreads through the mining community, some of the Ultor employees uncover a massive conspiracy. Thus ensues a battle by a group of lowly workers, headed up by the educated Parker, to expose the deadly experiments Ultor has unleashed onto its work force.Red Faction was a very big leap forward in the FPS genre. It introduced many new technical features such as location-based damage system, real-time skeletal deformation, advanced physics simulation, destructible environment and more. The unprecedented (at the time) interaction with the environment creates a very strong feeling of immersion that is very impressive even by today's standards.Unique set of features such as location-based damage system, real-time skeletal deformation, advanced physics simulation, and destructible environment. An ability to use land, sea, and air vehicles during your missions.Compelling storyline (written by the creators of the famous FreeSpace series) that will keep you hooked for many hours.Votes: 1419

Escape from Monkey Island™
Escape from Monkey Island™
Spitting the sand of Monkey Island from my mouth, I wondered if the life of a mighty pirate was all it was cracked up to be. I'd ignored recent events that should have been warning shots across the bow of my soul, from my wife's brush with death to the anti-pirate ramblings of an Australian gazillionaire. If only I'd chosen a different path, LeChuck might still be dead and the Ultimate Insult might have remained a mystery. If I'd never picked up a sword, the grog-swilling pirates of the Tri-Island Area might be unthreatened by the forces of gentrification and demonic heckfire. If only... suddenly, the hairy finger of a familiar monkey tapped me on the shoulder. It was time. Time for the biggest battle of my swashbuckling life.- Excerpted from "The Memoirs of Guybrush Threepwood: The Monkey Island Years"Fourth in the legendary Monkey Island series of graphic adventures! An original, cinematic story full of drama, sociopathic parrots, and a villain with a sinister agenda!Dozens of lusciously rendered backgrounds!Hundreds of puzzles to challenge both novice and veteran pirates... er, adventurers!New jokes! New puns! New insults! And more monkeys than the three previous Monkey games combined!Votes: 7264

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.

Discworld
DiscworldDiscworld is a game released for PC (subsequently Mac, and Playstation) by Teeny Weeny / Perfect 10 studios in 1995. The game was released both on floppy disk and CD-Rom. The latter featured a commentary team created of many veterans of famous Brit-Coms. This included Monty Python's Eric Idle, Radio 4's (later to be more famous) Rob Brydon, ex- Doctor Who John Pertwee, 70s pop singer Kate Robbins, and Blackadder star Tony Robinson. The game is a riff on the Discworld title 'Guards, Guards', however many elements of the text have been shifted, not least the inclusion of Rincewind as protagonist. The game featured puzzles which were considered far too difficult and obtuse for gamers of the time, but the game itself has had a lasting legacy, now being accepted into such emulators as SCUMMVM.

Like the previous entries, Silent Hill 3 is a survival horror combining action-based combat and puzzle-solving, but is somewhat more combat-oriented than the preceding installments. Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis
Jurassic Park: Operation GenesisJurassic Park: Operation Genesis is a construction and management simulation video game for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 based on the Jurassic Park series. The main point of the game is to recreate Jurassic Park - building a five-star theme park with dinosaurs, and turning John Hammond's dream into reality. In the park, the player builds paths, amenities for visitors such as food, restrooms, enclosures, and attractions. One must also keep the park safe and secure. The park can be populated with up to sixty dinosaurs, with twenty-five different species available from the three Jurassic Park films. The player can also add attractions similar to those seen in the films, such as the safari seen in the Jurassic Park film, and additional attractions such as a balloon tour and several varieties of viewing platform. While the PlayStation 2 version is fairly common, the PC and Xbox versions of the game are considerably rare, with the Xbox version considered one of the rarest and most expensive titles for the system, with copies of the game often selling on eBay for upwards of $100. GAMEPLAY: The player's main objective is to create a theme park/zoo featuring dinosaurs, make it popular, and make it safe with a 5-star rating. Gameplay functions are very similar to the SimCity and Tycoon game models. It is necessary to build feeding stations where herbivores can get bales of plant feed, while carnivores are fed live cows or goats. However, herbivores become unhappy if they don't have enough trees around them or enough nearby dinosaurs to socialize with. Likewise, carnivores have an innate desire to hunt other dinosaurs, so even a constant stream of livestock will not keep them happy. To create a dinosaur, fifty percent (50%) of the particular dinosaur's DNA is needed. The higher the percentage of DNA, the longer that dinosaur will live, unless it dies by means other than natural causes, such as malnutrition or being attacked by another dinosaur. To obtain a dinosaur's DNA, the player must extract it through fossils or amber. Higher quality specimens will yield more DNA. To obtain fossils and amber, the player must send a fossil-hunting team to dig in one of nine dig sites around the world. Additional dig teams can be purchased later in the game. Each dig site contains fossils from three particular dinosaurs. Fossils of some dinosaurs, such as Brachiosaurus, can be found in more than one dig site. The chance of finding fossils depends on the quality of the site. There are 6 classifications on the quality of a dig site, ranging from "excellent" to "exhausted." It is still possible to find fossils and amber at sites that have been exhausted, although they are often of low quality with little DNA to provide. Valuable items such as silver, gold, or opal are also discovered infrequently by the dig team(s), and can be sold for profit. Attractions help make the park popular, and increase its rating power and income when correctly configured. Attractions must be researched before they can be constructed, and include the Balloon Tour, Safari Adventure and Viewing Dome. Viewing Vents and Viewing Platforms do not need to be researched. The Safari Tour and Balloon Tour attractions allow for the player to "take over" the ride for the purpose of park exploration and photography, but only when a visitor in the game is using it. The player may also observe the dinosaurs from the Viewing Dome, Viewing Vent, and Viewing Platform by selecting the "View" option after clicking on the building. Amenities such as restrooms and restaurants are needed for visitors. Additional buildings such as a gift shop and a resting area must be researched before the player can add them into the park. Vaccines for diseases–such as tick infestation, gastric poisoning, rabies, and the fictional Dino Flu–must be researched before a sick dinosaur can be treated for a particular illness. DINOSAURS: There are a total of 25 dinosaurs featured in the game, some of which were featured in the films. They are divided into four main sub-groups. Small Herbivores such as Gallimimus and Pachycephalosaurus are easy to care for and do not take up much space, but are not as popular with guests. Large Herbivores such as Brachiosaurus and Triceratops are very popular with visitors and do not require expensive fences, but need large spacious exhibits. Small Carnivores such as Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor do not generally need vigorous security as their larger counterparts, but can still harm guests if they escape. Large Carnivores such as Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus are the most popular dinosaurs in the game, but require large exhibits with high security fences and are prone to rampaging when stressed. MISSIONS: The game has 10 missions the player can complete. In some websites like IGN and GameSpot, early previews indicated that there were originally to be 12 missions. There are about three or four general types of missions, including taking photographs of dinosaurs to try to rack up a certain amount of points from the photos in a safari mission and dinosaur control missions where the player has to retire the carnivores (preferably large ones) to protect the herbivores. SITE B: After all the missions are completed, the "Site B" mode is unlocked, which allows the player to create an island without any fences or buildings for people, similar to Isla Sorna in The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III. Visitors are not allowed on the island. The player can place up to eight hatcheries and create up to sixty dinosaurs, which live on the island without diseases or the possibility of becoming stressed. As long as they have food, water and living space, the player can simply watch the dinosaurs interact and live out their lives. FAN MODIFICATIONS: Because of the PC version's modular file structure, the game is very easy to modify with nothing more than a regular text editor. It is possible to create almost completely new missions, exercises, dinosaurs, dinosaur designs, new visitor appearances, and play options. The Indominus rex, a genetic hybrid dinosaur from Jurassic World, was made available in June 2015. Thanks to the open ended design, a small community of fans have come together to improve realism, unlock unreleased features, and design new features to be included. A group of people have formed the Community Expansion Project and the Genesis Expansion Project, which takes previous modifications and designs new ones for release in a patch for the overall community. The team's main aim is to recreate the dinosaurs to be as realistic as possible, mainly expanding and creating new behavior. Two other modification sets, the Film-Canon Mod (FCM) and Novel-Canon Mod (NCM), are from Jurassic Park fansite, JPLegacy.org. The NCM includes dinosaur designs and islands based on the Jurassic Park novels. The FCM includes film-based dinosaur designs, music, sounds, and islands. Since the release of the first expansions, many others have appeared, with increased sophistication to make the game more realistic.

If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?

Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
