Crimson Desert
Crimson Desert
user avatar@Chacranajxy
In a lot of ways, Crimson Desert feels like this year's Clair Obscur in the making. Not that the games are necessarily that similar in terms of aesthetic or even gameplay mechanics, but it's got all the markings of an RPG that comes out of nowhere and delivers a shockingly good experience. We need more RPGs like this that aim to offer a highly-polished, distinctive vision... sans the creative interference of a large publisher. But, of course, the game isn't out for another month, so who knows? Either way, I hope GOG's putting in the time to secure this one.

This is a game created by a Polish studio, and I would like to buy it on a Polish platform 🙂 I always try to purchase games on GOG, but they are often released there many months after launch, which forces me to buy them on Steam instead. That was the case with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Clair Obscur. Please do something to ensure that games are available on GOG on release day as well.

Solasta was freakin insane, and the second Game looks even more promising. This would be a very strong Oldschool inspired Rpg Release for Gog. The Presentation looks sexy and fresh though. We need it here.
Super Bomberman Collection
Super Bomberman Collection
user avatar@iamfuturetrunks
Was very surprised to see a trailer for this and for it to come out on steam the other day. I own Super Bomberman 2 for SNES and have played it countless times in the past. It had a somewhat fun single player but it also had an amazing multiplayer which you could play by yourself or up to 3 other friends if you had the specific dongle that added 4 controllers to one port. The great thing was it has computer controlled players so playing by yourself was always an option. The levels are colorful and unique, the bosses were interesting and challenging at times. There was also the music! Right when the trailer started and heard that recognizable song I instantly knew where it was from. That song is recognizable like the old Tetris theme. I have literately hummed that theme at times in the past (probably from playing the game so much). I never got or played the other bomberman games for SNES cause the others didn't really interest me all that much and plus very hard to track down old SNES games. So this collection looks like a great time. I am tempted to get it on Steam because I get mostly multiplayer games on there and would like to play it with friends but if it comes to GOG I would probably get it cause of how fun the second game on it's own is and hope it supports cross store play. But from many other games I have seen in the past (like golf with your friends) that is not the case thus I would be a bit weary and make sure you research before getting it here if it ever releases here. Konami hasn't really released many games on GOG in the past, last time being around 2020 with some very old games. I guess we shall see, maybe in a year any agreements they had with steam might be done with and they can release it here maybe? Who knows. Also these games give me some hope we might get the N64 bomberman games release on PC eventually which I would REALLY like, the first 2 are amazing single player games. Multiplayer not as good but still fun.

Truly unique gaming experience B&W 1 and 2 would be an instant purchase for me. These games are all I played when I was little, nostalgia is a hell of a thing and maybe the games are as good as I remember them to be.

user avatar@samkes
The game so far looks just like Slay the Spire 1, just more of what is already close to perfect. I was a second away from buying the bundle with early access on steam but I only buy my games from GOG. Hope it makes it to GOG even in early access somehow.

About to finish the game, and it really is something special. The worldbuilding, while fundamentally DnD 5e, takes steps to answer how game mechanics actually affect the people of this world. The writing is consistently entertaining, to the point it got me to actually laugh out loud several times, just on the first day alone. Would love for it to be preserved and available on GOG.

I played the original Panzer General and this release more than any of the other Panzer General games. I have memories of sitting and playing with my friends for hours on my old Acer with a 133(!)mhz chip and 16 mbs of RAM. They're the only two not on here! I need these games again!

(I also shared this on volume one’s vote) As a kid my dad and I would play through the whole series together, (it’s how I introduced him to gaming.) Because of that this series will always be legendary to me. Metal gear solid is a fantastic game that fills me with nostalgia. And especially where preservation is concerned it is a must have on the GOG platform.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - Legions

There are not so many HH games out there in general and, in my opinion, veterans nowadays prefer 30k to 40k. I am already on book 45, I have two 30k tabletop armies and I love the setting - it's far better fleshed out than the 40k one where characters feel (for the most part) like may flies and can never reach truly epic levels (even if GW tries its hardest with some, it feels forced). The game itself has great character and potential, don't shut it down, let it become like Gwent where at least there are servers to keep its final state. Not to mention, it hasn't reached its fullest potential - overhaul for a few factions more (Ruinstorm, Defenders of Caliban, titans; and let's hope I don't need to add The Agents of Malcador and the Sisters of silence to this list) + an overhaul to the campaigns, which, if I recall correctly, was promised some time ago. It would be a damn shame if you do this game dirty like Warpfoge (which, I believe, should get the same treatment as Gwent at the very least)
Beauty and the Thug
Beauty and the Thug
user avatar@SargonAelther
Beauty and the Thug is one of my favourite adult VNs. It has a very strong emphasis on user choice. This covers relationships, character appearance and kinks. The game features a female protagonist who can choose to pursue a straight or a lesbian relationship. She can also choose to remain alone. The game provides players with body hair options in "Several places", and those get represented throughout the whole game. This being a RenP'y title, means that the developer has to re-render every scene with these different body hair options. The amount of supported kinks is MASSIVE, without approaching anything illegal. Like I said before, the developer's dedication to user choice is very commendable. I would absolutely love to buy this game on GOG. It stands far above many other adult titles that are already on GOG. Best of all, the developer is willing to publish on GOG, but the game needs more votes to pass curation.

What a bad game this was. Feels like a scam, under 3 hours to beat and has AI generated stuff in it. Don't add this game here, nobody needs this game. The creator lied so many times already. No wonder GOG rejected it.

The demo was really fun! Diana was cute and I could see hers and Hugh's interactions ending up being very heartwarming. The unique combat was excellent. I really hope GOG are able to bring this here. Really wish Capcom games in general made it to GOG.
WildStar

user avatar@hiro1221
Favorite MMORPG to this day. No other game has ever made me create so many characters just to experience it over and over again. I believe action combat is infinitely better than tab-targeting in MMORPGs, and WildStar still did it the best. It definitely had its issues. But just like Anthem, there's a beautiful skeleton at the very least, and it would be an injustice to the gaming world to never use it again. No other game exists like it, despite the clear hunger for it - not because it wasn't loved enough, but because it goes against today's norms of putting in the least effort for the most reward. If WildStar never returns, especially considering what has come out in the past five years and how other games have been revived to show it's possible, then I would officially consider MMORPGs to be dead. Please bring back WildStar. Thank you.

This was the game that my brother put me to play when i was a kid, i always loved the OST from Yoko Shimomura and the combat will always have a place in my heart due to me being in love with turn-based jrpgs, also Aya is one of the most badass MC in survival horror (IMO), great story with fun elements and masterpiece OST. Please bring it to PC, there would be nothing better than having it DRM-free forever.

I'm not even sure how they'd manage to port a console exclusive game to GOG, but if they do it would be WILD. I only played the game once, on PC, using an emulator. It was good for the most part except for some textures going black and my dog suddenly expands to fill the screen. If this game manages to arrive on GOG, I'd be so happy.

This game introduced me to the world of twisted & dark fairy tales. The story, the setting, the gameplay, the art style, the soundtrack - all incredible, especially for its time. I'd love to see this game, and its sequel, preserved DRM-FREE. If possible, I'd love to see an art book and the soundtrack being sold alongside the game!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
