According to a response by one of the devs (Lstc005lydia) on the other storefront: "At this moment in time, the game is not coming to GoG or any other platform not currently announced. Should this change, we will announce it on our social and community channels, so be sure to follow us there!" I would definitely let your voice be heard & share the dreamlist page through the various social media channels they have so they know there is growing interest in this game.

This needs to make it to GOG. This would be a crime if it were not. They are so pro-consumer, like GOG, a match made in heaven. No microtransactions, more players than the Marathon release, with ZERO advertisement. Pure gold of a game made by gamers for gamers.

It’s launch day today and I already bought it on Steam. So far I’m enjoying it, but I’m don’t have Steam installed everywhere. Gog, however, *is* installed everywhere and I’d love to buy the game a second time to support such a proper Disco-like.

The demo was really fun! Diana was cute and I could see hers and Hugh's interactions ending up being very heartwarming. The unique combat was excellent. I really hope GOG are able to bring this here. Really wish Capcom games in general made it to GOG.

I would love to see Crimson Desert on GOG because it guarantees a more competitive price and, of course, because of your unique commitment to game preservation. GOG, you do much more for games and players than many other widely used companies and stores. That's why I prefer to buy my games here.

Wages of War: The Business of Battle
Wages of War: The Business of Battle
user avatar@Pretiacruento
Axelord1942's fantastic video brought me here. Most of today's modern games, they’re too clean. They smell like a floor that’s been scrubbed with lemon-scented poison. They have no soul, just polished code (or rehashed UE5 slop) and the hollow ring of microtransactions. Then you look at "Wages of War." A relic from 1996, left to rot in the back of a drawer like a forgotten rent check. It’s a beautiful kind of ugly, it's got the "so bad it's good" kinda jank. You’re trapped in a 90s office with a fax machine that spits out death warrants and an accountant who hates your guts. It’s about the business of battle (hah)! managing mercenaries who sprain their ankles on the way to the kill. Your revolvers jam, the pay is low, and the stakes are just as grimy as the graphics. It’s a breath of fresh air because it smells like old man sweat and cheap gas station coffee. It doesn't care if you like it. It doesn't hold your hand. It’s a raw, jagged edge of a game that shows the world as it is - a series of contracts where someone always loses. We NEED this game back. Not for the pixels, the repetitive MIDIs, but to remember what it’s like to have a game that’s got a bit of real dirt under its fingernails. Give it to us raw. Let the fax machine run one more time!

Solasta was freakin insane, and the second Game looks even more promising. This would be a very strong Oldschool inspired Rpg Release for Gog. The Presentation looks sexy and fresh though. We need it here.

I love this era of Lionhead games! There is a humor and creativity in this game that is rarely seen in modern games. It has so much personality that it is fun to play, in spite of the flaws.

Sooo... aparently Welcome to Doll Town got rejected by gog, thats really sad, since one of the hypes i alway give about gog is that they open to all games unlike steam, why wont they just let our wallets decide if we like the game or not instead of outright Declining it

Game now uses GoDot Engine. This alone is enough to purchase at full price. Especially with threat of server farms shut down and long periods of no access to the internet.
The Simpsons: Hit & Run
The Simpsons: Hit & Run
user avatar@Lucinice27
Out of all GTA clones who would have thought the Simpsons would have made one of the best? The Simpsons hit and run is one of the few stand out licensed games of the 6th generation of video games. As a young fella I played the game on the PS2 and even got a fun branded hat with it! I played through the whole game twice. The mission design and trademark Simpsons humor made it a fun and memorable experience.

I only just discovered this game after it kind of became a meme online. And there's NOTHING else like it. Forget Armored Core or Metal Wolf Chaos, this is a HEFTY mecha game with a super unique gimmick. And the hilarious localization is just the cherry on top. I've only played it in an emulator, but it'd 100% be a day one purchase if I could

Sim Theme Park
Sim Theme Park
user avatar@toikkaplays
Incredibly underrated, one of the first 3D theme park management games in the world. You could even ride the rides yourself, and each park had a distinct theme of their own, from dinosaurs to space! One of my favorites was the halloween -themed world. Every day when you booted the game it'd show you a different video intro, which were hilarious. Managing your park was fun and the editor tools were powerful with plenty of cool rides to unlock. There shouldn't be a problem to bring this back, since it's from Bullfrog / EA and there's no licensed music or anything like that. Can we also bring back the sequel, Theme Park Inc?

I first encountered this game years ago when it was bundled as a demo with a gaming magazine. I remember being immediately hooked by its engaging mechanics and surprisingly immersive world. Not sure if this would be playable today, but would love to add it ti my collection.

Wildstar was amazing and had major hiccups on release when it was switched to free to play and had a soft re release it was too late! It’s the level or hardcore and fun everyone is wanting now! It was an amazing memory for me and my friends back in 2014 and the few years it was out back then! There’s a small community building a private server but nothing is close to what could happen with a big backer!

Silent Hill 2 (Classic)
Silent Hill 2 (Classic)
user avatar@BeautifulBearInATutu
One of the best survival horror games out there and now eminently playable on PC thanks to the tireless work of fans, it's incredible and saddening that there is no legal way to access the original PC version digitally, which makes this a perfect get for GOG's catalog and a great companion for Silent Hill 4: The Room. Truthfully, while the remake is amazing, it's not the original game. To this day, discovering how this game tastefully handled dark subject matters in 2001 shaped the way I think about art and helped me approached novels and movies that were formative to me, up to this day. It's not a joke when I say that Silent Hill 2 helped me acquaint myself and enter the right frame of mind to watch David Lynch's work (rest in peace).
Wolfenstein
Wolfenstein
user avatar@polytetrafluro
The game shares more black magic, as did 'Return to castle Wolfenstein', but you as the player get to choose what type to use and when. I particularity liked the veil. Such a shame Activision pulled it from the shelves. I solely have a Windows 7 machine just for playing it and nothing else. (4 CORE CPU). I want this game on GOG as the lack of software updates prevents it from working on Windows 10 / 11 (WITH MORE THAN A 4 CORE CPU) UPDATE: I GOT IT WORKING! 😍 It's NOT the copy protection that stops this game from working on WindoWs 10 but the number of cores your CPU has. This game was programmed for up to 4 CPU cores, not on a CPU with 32 like mine. To get around this problem; right-click 'start' left-click 'run' type 'msconfig' left-click 'OK' choose 'Boot' TAB then 'Advanced options' tick 'Number of processors' box and limit the number of processors to LESS than 5, e.g. 4. Click 'OK' then 'OK' restart computer and it should work. Windows will seem to run a bit slower than usual, like a down-graded CPU 🥱 Don't forget to change it back to maximum number of CPU cores when you need you PC working at it's full capacity again 😄

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Matched against a batch of ruthless rivals, you’ll have to act quickly to monopolize the key routes that rake in the most cash. Build roads, rails, stations, airports, docks, and more to develop the most efficient and profitable transit system to grow your business and become a true Tycoon. Choose from one of four vast game worlds made up of numerous small towns and raw material resources. Your network of transport services must connect these areas and turn your transit system into a thriving business, while the game randomly generates a limitless number of scenarios that impact your enterprise. You can also create your own game scenarios using the world editor. You’ll use your routes to move passengers, mail, and goods to their most lucrative destination. As the years roll by you’ll have the chance to buy more advanced vehicles and vessels if you can afford them. You’ll deal with town councils that express varying attitudes to your projects, and cope with disasters such as mine collapses and equipment malfunctions. You can even take over other companies and fund industries, which will bring increased profits for your transportation network. Features Build a transportation empire using trains, ships, trucks, planes, and helicopters. Connect towns and resources with your transit services to make the most profit. 4 vast game worlds, each generating a limitless number of gameplay scenarios. Fend off ruthless, computer-controlled rivals, natural disasters, and more. Move passengers, mail, and goods to their most lucrative destination.Votes: 4518

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about GOG Dreamlist with our FAQ
What is GOG Dreamlist?
GOG Dreamlist is a community-based tool anyone can use to vote for the games they want to see revived or added to our platform. These votes help GOG demonstrate community interest to IP owners and bring these games to life on our platform.
How does voting work?
Find a game on the list and click the arrow button to cast your vote. You can do so directly from the main page or a game's card. Every vote helps shape our platform and supports game preservation, so make it count!
How do I add a game to the Dreamlist?
If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?
Yes, you can vote for multiple games, but only once per game.
Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?
We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
