Dragon Age™: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Hands down the best entry in the entire franchise

The combat really shows its age. Bioware did a much better job with fast-paced combat in Mass Effect. Still easier to learn than Baldurs Gate and other party RPGs.

If I could go back in time and only get to play one game again for the very first time, this game takes the win no questions. A game that was made by a team that loved to make Games, you can feel that love in every inch of your playthroughs. Truly, I find myself coming back to this game every year or so, and most likely will continue to for as long as I'm able. I truly don't think I could recommend this game enough, especially for those who just love a fantastic story.

I had bought this on Steam and it is basically unplayable without third party downloads. GOG's version is as clean as skeeta's peeta! It works flawlessly. I have had a total of 1 crash through multiple hours of gaemplay. That only happened when I was changing resolution options/ fullscreen mode while in game. Thank you GOG! Oh yeah and if you didn't already know the game itself is also one of the greatest games ever made.

This was in the era when RPGs were still, at least partially, passion projects instead of established product that get stamped out regularly. It has heart and grit.
