I would like to add my thanks to the previous one, for all the same reason. The joy of seeing "abandonware" brought back on newer systems and DRM free games. DRM only hurt the honest customers, others always find hacks.

Thanks for adding the Sofort service as a payment alternative. You guys and gals rock: your prices are great, your selection of games is impressive and your love for them shines through. I've bought second or third copies of games I've owned for years here, simply because you provide convenient English non-cd/non-bs versions. Please keep it up.

As a new user to gog.com (I only recently discovered this website), I can say that this has already become my favorite online store for games. Many "old school" classics, lots of great indy games, competitive pricing, even games for my Mac...Awesome website! GOG team, you all rock!

GOG is doing something very important. My hope is that CD Projekt Red and GOG can bring back some sanity to an expanding - and fast changing industry.

We appreciate your ideology and integrity. Keep up the good work, and let's all change the industry together.

The future is DRM free.

Hello GOG team. I'm a 52 year old gamer here in Denver, CO and I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your hard work. I've purchased roughly 30 titles here on GOG and in almost every case they've been titles I already own the original versions of. What I'm paying for is getting these classics to run on a modern PC. I wanted you to know that I like others am willing to pay more for this great service. I think paying $25 or $30 to bring a beloved classic back from the dead is a bargain. Recoil or Outlaws anyone ;-). Thanks again guys.

You guys are amazing! I asked recently for a price match on Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall (They were on steam for about $10.50 for both.) Then they post it on their Winter 2014 flash sale for the same price. Coincidence? I think not.

I think it's an amazing team of gamers and programmers that go above and beyond to be awesome. Thank you, GOG!

You guys are doing a righteous work. Your site is well presented, your deals competitive with anything else available across the infinite vista of the Internet (other than piracy), and your DRM is the only true DRM there is. No ifs or buts, you guys are peerless. Keep up the good fight!

Love you guys. The DRM-free model that you employ is by far the most consumer-friendly option within the realm of online digital games distributors, and I look forward to using your service heavily once the Galaxy platform sees its release. I find it hilarious how pirates generally get the better service in the end simply because their games don't need to phone home on startup in order to play them. It's a lot like purchasing a DVD or Blu-Ray, with ads and piracy warnings that the people who bought it legitimately need to sit through every single time they wish to get to the film, meanwhile pirates just click on an .mkv file and they're watching the actual feature. Imagine the backlash if people couldn't even watch their films without that kind of obstruction. Yeah, suddenly piracy doesn't seem like a bad option, right? If it's not okay for films, then it's not okay for games either.

Also, what is ultimately the greatest thing about online digital distributions is that, while you can buy your games just about anywhere these days, it's ultimately your auxiliary services, the overall quality of your platform, and general ethos and design philosophy that come to define you as a retailer. People don't use Steam, or Origin, or god forbid UPlay because they enjoy authenticating their keys every time they boot up their game; it's because, in the case of good examples like Steam, it's the amount of polish and features they have make the sacrifice seem like it's worth it. Features like save file syncing, Steam Overlay, wishlists and a store embedded in one single client, preferred recommendations, reviews, the Steam Workshop, and more that make them great and competitive. There are, of course, the less benevolent platforms, being Origin and [shudders] UPlay, but people only generally ever bother using them on account of these publishers refusal to sell their games elsewhere.

And it's here that GOG can really swoop in and try to take on the incumbents by learning from what you perceive as sloppy business, or even blatant anti-consumer behavior. So I wish the very best of luck to the GOG team, and since I'm fairly certain that the Polish celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you a very happy late November.

Cheers.

Hey, I got both Witcher games for free here, not just free but DRM-free! Not to mention the collection of others I've actually paid for, I'd have never played Dungeon Keeper if it weren't for you. Then I got a free upgrade to include the expansion.

It's plain to see when a business is about more than the profits, but actually cares about the product they deliver, as well as the people they deliver it to. It's also getting rare to find that businesses see us as "people", not just "customers". You respect us, and we respect you in turn, show the rest how it's done.

You guys are the pinnacle of business. You are the star that, not just gaming companies, but every company should strive for. Having a company that tells you how it is and doesn't throw you through hoops is a breath of fresh air in this day and age. I just want to let you guys know you are the only company I actually tell my friends to check out your website and all the great deals you guys have. I am proud to say I shop at GOG for my PC games, I am proud to say I own my games, and I am proud that it's all DRM free. In a sea of redtape, politics, and greediness GOG is an island of hope. Keep it up guys, you're the best.

In a world where companies like Ubisoft, Blizzard and EA are destroying gaming for coming generations with their cynical microtransactions and dishonest methods, GOGs role is more crucial than ever.

Here's an example of how wonderful GoGs work is:
In GoGs "Master of Orion 1 & 2", you only have to install the games from a custom setupfile, and the game is allready patched and custom parameters are added to dosbox to make it run as smooth as possible. It works great "out-of-the-box"
The latest official patch for Moo2 is 1.31, but years after release, a dedicated modder made an unofficial 1.4 patch, which is absolutely brilliant. GoG has actually included this in their release!
This effort and insight really made my heart melt!

I thank you GoG for your dedication and ideological work, and hope you keep growing. I will recommend you to all my friends!

Thanks so Much for bringing these Games to the availability of all of us! Wasteland has ALWAYS been a favorite of mine! I missed it so much when the systems went to faster processors and higher level Operating System. Then the game no longer worked... I got an emulator but it could not slow the game down enough to actually play it. I will be buying the Wasteland and Wasteland 2. I cannot wait to try all these Good Ole Games from a "Little" while back, LOL
