We all know they work hard, and we all appreciate it, so lets tell it to them.
Thank you very much GOG for being a great online store with so much to offer, not just great DRM free games but all the little extras which I and many others appreciate! I hope more and more people start using GOG and other companies follow in your footsteps. Great to see people who really care about games serving gamers with a fantastic service like this.
I don't know what to say, since all I wanted to say has been said already. GOG is the best thing since sliced bread. More power to you guys and keep up the amazing work!
GOG: What was excellent now is perfect: Linux support!!! OW YEAH!!!!!!!
You guys are the best thing to happen to classic gaming ever. I appreciate all you have done. Keep up the phenomenal work. God Bless GOG!
You've probably heard it all before but I would like to add my thanks to all involved with GOG.com. An amazing site with so much to drool over. Great prices (especially with all the sales, can"t stop buying) and awesome extras. GOG.com is without a doubt my favourite site, every time I get on the net it's my first port of call. Keep bringing the great games of yesteryear back and I will keep buying. Again great work.
I came back to gog.com because they now support Linux. Moreover, the games are DRM-free. So far the best online game store I've ever used.
I agree with Sergii13 for Divinity: Original Sin. Myself an old gamer can't imagine my life without GoG. Even if Steam Sales sharkbites my wallet now and then it will never have the old good DRM free game i missed playing back at my youth. Keep going guys!
Reliable quality, money back guarantee, awesome extras, and good old games :).
I never thought there would come a day I choose something else over Steam, but you guys made me switch. Your deals are too good to pass up, and now you done and added 50 games to your Linux library, and no DRM? Am I dreaming? It turns out, no I am not and this is just standard fare for you, which makes me extremely happy. Anyways, thank you very much for your hard work and dedication. Expect more purchases from me soon :)
GOG, thank you oh so very much for the Linux games. Incredible news. Thanks!!! :)
Yay Linux support! Good job guys! Really excited to see the Linux titles rolling out. Between Steam and GOG I'll be switching all my machines over to Linux soon.
I have bought a lot of games on steam (mostly offers and discounts) but I'm going to buy here my first preorder ever ( The Witcher 3) and in a near future more games like Divinity: Original Sin because I'm totally agree with your policy of "fair price" and because you are doing a really good work with games that I love of my childhood ,) Thanks for that! (Excuse my english!)
Yeah. Really. You guys, and galls, rock. Keep on doing your magnificent work. I'll be with you for a long time. ... and you don't even have to pay me 5 dollars.
Thanks guys, I have found alot of my childhood game here and the memories are relived thanks to you great blokes
Thanks so much for this great service. With GOG I've managed to recover a few games from my younger years that I hadn't played in a long while.
I've made it my personal policy only to buy sacred items from repentant monks as a sign of indulgence:). Earning my way to heaven with over 700 games from the catalogue so far. Thank you GOG.
Thanks for your work. I hope, you will stay progressive and add new new games and that GOG galaxy looks interesting.
love you guys. no homo. :)
Thank you for your hard work in preserving some of the best games ever made in a DRM-Free fashion.
Thank you for all you do... This is what gaming is about... Simple and easy... Download, install, Play.... Best PC site for games....
I also like to say thank you for your services. Thank you very much gog and keep up the good work..
Thank you for being the company that makes the kind of decisions the player community wish for.
I love GOG, all Steam ever does is piss me off. I had pretty much stopped playing PC games until I found this site, and I absolutely love it. When I had a computer crash a few weeks ago it was great to be able to just redownload my games without any hassle on my new machine.
Im still a pc gamer thanks to gog.
Thank you! As probably many others I'd pay the same price or more for a game on GOG than on the competitors site just to support You and DRM-free world. Thanks again.
Now I use GOG and only GOG. Your service, your attitude and your fairness is so fantastic that if you don't have something then neither will I. I buy games that I have multiple retail versions because I want to support GOG and what they stand for. Respect to you and your principles, it's got the loyalty of both my heart and wallet.
Awesome classics playable in new and not-so-new systems, all at affordable prices. This is how you make business. Thank you, GOG team.
how can you appreciate anything GOG does other than sales? They offer DRM free just so they can ignore your problems when you purchase a game from the site. I've submitted several ignored complaints and one possible road to a solution with NO response or action. I love the idea of getting away from competing clients and sites but if this is what I can expect from spending my money with you guys then I don't think I should shop anymore here on GOG. You post a Broken Game knowing updates are required for anyone with any computer that is connected to the internet at anytime wouldnt be able to play. Direct X updates automatically. I shouldn't have to force a roll back or force download a second direct X. If I'm missing something THEN TELL ME when i submit a damned complaint!
I didn't see any other threads for this, but I thought it should be posted. GOG staff need to know they are appreciated. 1) Thank you for 100% resolving two or three issues I had for the last few years, often within 24 hours. It has always been resolved 100% and so quickly. And the emails I get in reply are always professional, I never feel like I'm bothering somebody. 2) Virtually no service downtime. My game collection on GOG is important to me, and I like to be able to browse my collection and pick out something I haven't played yet. Never had a service problem, and it's so easy to use. 3) The game collection is unique. Keep bringing out good old games. The independent games don't interest me as much. 4) The upcoming galaxy thing interests me, but only because you have behaved in a trustworthy way for years now. If you were someone like EA, I would have immediately started making fun of you for even discussing something like this, but because it's you, I'm more curious than anything. 5) I get the impression your staff plays games. You want what we want. Keep it up, keep the trust, Your loyal customer for almost 5 years now!
Just discovered this about 2 weeks ago (looking for RollerCoaster Tycoon for an office mate), and I have bought around 130 games already! (22 x5 -7free). I don't know how I'll play them all ;'DD The reason why I haven't bought from Steam was because of the DRM. I have Steam games (bought in a bundle, from Vodo), but I haven't played any of them BECAUSE I CAN'T LOG INTO STEAM!!! Their login help features DON'T WORK! ahem... anyway, you guys at GOG are awesome. Thank you :')
I'm a relatively new customer to GOG. My experience thus far has been excellent. It's a great library of games with very reasonable prices. The customer support appears to be very good from what I've read within the community. I'm intrigued by the up-and-coming client and I look forward to buying more games from GOG in the future.
I am no GOGger any more, because there is no chance for me to complete my collection. All the special offers in the summer sale, which is now over, costed all the money I would have liked to spend for some old games here. Instead I was forced to buy one indie game after another. It is all about new games here currently.
Just wanted to say thanks for the latest sale and how it was organized. I could buy some old and new titles and get some freebie, and I'm really happy with the experience. I have been here for some months and each day I like it better. I just heard about the Galaxy project and I wish you the best of luck with it. Great job guys, keep it up :)
Thanks for being awesome!
Thanks guys, you all kick much ass.
I just happened to discover GOG about a week ago. And even before the amazing prices that you offer, what immediately drew me in was reading your support/ customer service area and how willing you are to help all gamers that potentially have issues with their bought content. not many other sources give a refund guarantee if you cant fix it and the easiness to contact you guys for support. Absolutely my new favorite source for gaming and i hope you guys can succeed and go further.
My first pc game was bought on gog, not steam.
Love YOU! thnx!
GoG is good! GoG is great! And we thank it for our games! Go GoG!!! haha I am so glad you guys exist, without GoG I would be able to even play the Gothic series. Before I knew any better I purchased Gothic Completion Collection from GMG. Big mistake!! Not only could I not get Gothic 1 to install, trying to install Gothic 2 gave me a virus!! Never again, Capsule, never again.
Keep up the good work! I bought way too many games on summer sale 2014 :)
I love GOG, so I love the GOG Team! Thanks!
This site has become my favourite in the space of one summer sale. True ownership, no DRM and the chance to play classic titles once thought lost to the ages. The GOG team are truly paragons of gaming!!!
I never expected to be able to play Planescape ever again, but then i found GOG. Thanks for the awesome people o gog.com and another thanks for the community, you guys are also very cool yourselves!
memories, memories, memories. What can I say. the old games are still the best.
So firstt ime poster, but figured id say thanks for expanding sunch an amazing catalogue and giving people like me that missed out on the golden age of computer gaming a chance to play some of the most important titles, and being progressive in your ideals. Also great community that has formed around these parts. Lovely.
Oh, I forgot to mention: MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU
Hi, I am from small european country (ex socialist) and until few years ago it was almost impossible to get games legally. Of course the piracy was booming. And then the first thing we got was a gaming stores. It was fantastic, but you could only get new titles. Than came along digital distribution and we thought we are in gamers heaven. First it was Steam which is very cool, but some older games didn't work properly and some has annoying DRM. AND then I learn about gog.com. Wow, a digital distribution store build around solid principles and ethic! I thought it's impossible! Aparently not in gogworld... SO gog.com, absolutly amazing job you've done!
I love you guys, I really do!
This is my favorite source for PC games. I would rather spend my money here than anywhere else. It's wonderful to have a company that doesn't treat its customers like criminals or assume that we are stupid. Kudos for the Linux announcement!
