More time! (a few hours per day would be nice)in progress

Added byLifthrasil's avatarLifthrasil

With so many games that are sold by GOG, there is just no time to play them all. So please, please GOG, start selling additional time. Either bundled with the games (depending on how much is needed for each game) or in the form of an abonnement. E.g. add two or three hours to each day. After all, they say that time is money. So please find a way to reverse this axiom and allow us to convert some money to time! ;-)

You can convert money to time — if you have money enough to afford to stop working.

@Zlind GoG have hired a genius who has a device that can slow down the speed of the entire rotation/orbiting/all that stuff of the solar system so that we gain an extra couple of hours a day, all because of this wishlist item. Unfortunately, the device requires a constant 1.21 gigawatt input for it to work, so they're working on getting it working under less power.

ellynandroid is right, what GOG and other stores are doing now is essentially the same as selling electric toys with "batteries not included"—very annoying!

And yes, it should go without saying that the time must be absolutely DRM-free. I don't need anyone telling me when I must spend the time, and on what. And I don't want the universe to freeze every time I lose connection to the UMSAS (Universal Minkowski Spacetime Activation Server).

I'd pay for the double weekend DLC, preferably the version that's not content locked to just games (or maybe tripple weekend with one weekend only usable for gaming).

If I could purchase an additional Saturday, DRM free. I'd do it!

Please GOG, bring us more Saturdays. Plus expansions!

@Reviewgamesh yeah, that'd definitely be more useful than the reverse device I have: I play for a few minutes, and several hours have passed.

Actually, if any of you guys are willing to supply 1.21 gigawatts, I could send you back a few hours, which would effectively give you more time.

Where can I file a bug report? I lost an hour a week or so ago. It's supposed to get better, not worse.

Actually the axiom is quite trivially reversed, by converting less time into money in the first place. Unfortunately few employers would be happy about this.

Time is just a figment of our imaginations. There is no time. just infinite counting sheep/turtle hybrids. We don't count the sheep, the sheep counts us. See? no time... just infinite gaming.

GOG, in particular I'd like you guys to come up with a little pocket dimension where I can play the Infinity Engine games for hours on end, then step back out and have had only a few Prime Dimension minutes pass.

Good to see GOG is on this. I honestly think it's unacceptable that stores sell games but not the time to play them in. It's not as if time is meaningfully finite, guys!
