I also wonder why there are so many games on GOG that have a perfect German language version and yet are only available in English here. My main complaint lies in Jagged Alliance 2 and of course its expansion Unfinished Business. I have once even read that these games were only a success in Germany, but not anywhere else, which was one of the reasons why Sirtech went bankrupt. But no matter if that is true or not, there is no way that I would ever play these games in English and no, I won't use a fan patch either, I just refuse to buy the game in the first place. Having games on GOG that were even created in Germany (Sacred), yet are only available in English language is, to me, totally ridiculous and very sad as well.

It really is kind of odd that games that went with german as they came out, do not with the new release.

I can't understand why old games, that originally supported German language, are such a problem. I don't want to download the language packs from "unauthorized" websites.

Even games from german developers are available in english only! Why gog, why? That's very disappointing and an unnecessary annoyance.

First game series that comes to my mind is the RUNAWAY Trilogy. Got all three titles as retail and enjoyed them in german and was really dissappointed, when I realized after buying them here, that german was not included?!?

Exactly! Some games I just want to play in German like THIEF, that was a perfect localization. Some games on GOG are also in German and some are not, it's arbitrary. Thief, Tomb Raider and soon Black & White in German please!!

German audio would be a plus for me. Jagged Alliance had a pretty entertaining German localization.

I Agree for more games in german language. One Example Giants Citizen Kaubuto has german language in speech and in text but not on gog. Please more games in german so i want to buy more games too.

I found many games in your catalog, which were primarily produced for the german market. But many of them are unavailable in german language on gog.com.
That is often the only reason, why i dont buy this games.

This applies especially for games which were originally produced for the german market, like the 'The Dark Eye' (Das Schwarze Auge) games.

There's already another request that asks for more language support in general. Please consider voting for that one instead of asking for each language seperatly. This way the request will get more attention.

That's the only thing which is keeping me from buying more games at gog. I love how you can choose the laguage for most steam games. But there are only VERY few games at gog with more than english language files.
