If there is a game you wish to have on GOG.com and it’s not yet on the wishlist, please add your wish
There is a forum for this of gog's website. Its fan made using the information from each of the games on gog's website. http://www.gog.com/forum/general/unofficial_dvd_covers_list(Link to the forum with has the document to see all of the cover arts) Check it out.
Great idea! I loved the old big boxes (I actually kept covers in a binder and threy the cardboard box away), and even though its not much it really was something nice. Even if you can't quite explain why its that cool ;)
I'd like to expand this request and ask for full box scans of the games; I'm burning my games on discs and have to search a lot to find decent quality scans for it.
AND, add to all the alredy released games and not only for the future ones
This would be fantastic.
I would love to print DVD-covers for backups of my games, so I'll second this wish! (At least something like 900 x 900 pixels, please.)
Cover art! Where art thou?
Gog already has box art that's sufficient quality. The images used to line the "shelves" on the My Account page. Just include those images, renamed to folder.jpg with the game download. That would complete 90% of this wish, at no cost or effort. Of course really high quality images would be nice as well, but please do the easy bit soon.
Excellent idea Starkrun. Of course finding the originals in good enough a condition to scan is a different ballgame altogether.
I would like to see "full quality" (if available) box art with or without GOG branding for use with folder art etc. But I would also VERY MUCH like to see artwork and scans added to the extras of a game in the same way that manuals are currently offered. Especially with the older more lavish releases I think it's fascinating to see how they presented the games.
Very good idea. It could have a dedicated gog.com elements that everyone could see where from the game was downloaded.
Indeed would be great to have downloadable boxart files.
Agreed. I actually love boxarts and it would be great to have this as another bonus available.
