OmniOmen Either add a 'Filter By: Games Not Owned' feature or restore the grey status for GOG games you own. I don't want to accidentally purchase a game I already own! Also be able to mark games you do own, and be able to mark games that you would never buy. Also talk with Steam about synchronizing game lists.

pedderson wrote the support a ticket about this ... it seems like this has been adressed before. It would make life easier browsing the games in the store.

I would also love to be able to mark games as "I don't ever want to buy this" so I could make a "hidden" list so I don't have to bother with it again when searching.
Savior42 I just wrote a request to support about this, and then they told me I should look it up here (and add it IF it's not already here). Judging by the fact the hollunder, based on his comment, apparently did the same 2 years ago, this feature doesn't seem to be very high on GoG's TODO list...

i own ~1000 titles and it's really pain to 'scroll/click' thru lists
to find those i don't own already

make it please opt-in type of filter as checkbox
darknase While an good idea, the major problem from my POV is that GOG isn't capable to keep track of the games you own. Did get this:
"Pillars of Eternity: Royal Edition Preorder"
Till today I don't see POE as "owned". GOG support assured me though that if I were to put it in the cart and try buy it that I couldn't.
That's at least something.
bluenightlagoon Hey everyone, I made a bookmark for firefox that filters all owned games in sides of gog as far as I can see. Basicly it sets display none to all elemts on the website with the owned-games class. Thanks gog for using the tag in all views.
Its very easy to use this bookmark in firefox:

First what exactly does it:
it's a javascript I have written to add a stylesheet to the current website that sets the css class owned-game to display none, which means the html element is not rendered.
How to use:
In firefox you have a BOOKMARK TOOLBAR (usually its below the adress bar). Rightclick the bookmarks toolbar and click "new bookmark". Name it something like gog_hide_owned and in location copy the script I posted.
When you are on the gog website after the page loaded press the "bookmark" (it's not really a bookmark but a script but that doesnt matter). And then you see why gog doesnt filter owned games. Because it makes the website look empty :)

hollunder I just wrote such a request to support when it occured to me that there could be a wishlist for this. No idea what is more likely to bear fruit.
kirell I'd really like to be able to browse the catalogue without clicking though pages of owned games (as an option, of course)...

Lifthrasil Yes. A Filter option would be nice, so one doesn't have to scroll through hundreds of greyed out games to find one to buy.

BadTazte A filter, to hide allready owned games would be very nice. I allready bought so much games, the unbought seem to fade avay between them...
Gaerzi I'd like the catalogue page not to display owned games by default.
