Cisnes Yo tengo este juego, pero al instalarlo me pide el shockwave Player, que ya no esta en uso.
Esta version que esta en ingles, ya esta funcional en windows 10?

slade_x To adjust game settings like resolution / turning off startup video etc. you need to launch STConfig in the installed directory which the default is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Submarine Titans
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Submarine Titans\STConfig.exe
When i ran it initially i had no option to change any of these settings especially resolution as the default is 800x600
Options are 800x600 / 1024x768 / 1280x1024

UnKoolRebel7 This was my first RTS and I still think about it every day. My three brothers and myself still talk about it. I don't get into PC gaming much but we would do Lan parties of this game so often if we could play it on windows 10. (I still use windows 7 though if its possible to make it work on 7 aswell that would make my year.)

QuaintSerpent One of the best RTS Game ever. Its like Starcraft. There is no other RTS game under water like this one. I'd love to see Submarine Titans on GOG.
cyberkiller Loved it in the day, too bad the broken PL translation made it nearly unplayable (mission objectives were mixed up & numerous other translation problems). I would instabuy it if it showed up on GOG.

Could you please share your DXWnd settings? I can't get it working correctly. Depending on the renderer, either some game elements are constantly shaking (parts of the UI, textures of resources), or the actual gameplay is very slow (like 10 fps, but in menus everything is ok).

tempwall An unbelievable 2D RTS in 2000, some uniques even 2019. Looking forward to play it on my computer with win10 and 1080p now, it will be exciting to pay for it today!

I have it working on my win 10 Pro x64 machine using an NVIDIA GTX980 graphics card. You need to unpack the Dd3drm.dll file from the DirectX.cab and save it in to the Submarine Titans Directory. Also modify the permissions for ST.exe to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP (SP2). and run as administrator. Then all should be good.
Max resolution for the game is 1280x1024. so, if like me you have a 3 screen setup in 1080p then you can wrap the game in a DX wrapper to run it in windowed mode as the game does not natively support windowed mode. I use DXWnd to achieve this.
Just completed White Sharks Campaign and started on Black Octopi campaign..
Feels good. I was hired by Ellipse after i graduated University with a degree in Computer Sciences. I was Hired as a tester for the game and worked at the studio where it was developed :). Good times great memories.

I am the lead developer of this game and thanks for all the comments. Unfortunately it is not easy to redevelop this game as my whole team is scattered all over the place and Submarine Titans and Ancient Conquest took 17 developers to make this game. So it is almost impossible to resurrect this game :( I really appreciate your comments. We thought at that time this game was a winner but none of the publishers were very interested and thought this was a B game.

Ellipse Studios actually was a australian developer, just like Auran who made Dark Reign.
But otherwise I agree. I remember some old Game Star or PC Games criticizing it as a Starcraft-clone, but the game handles a lot of things (resources, research, ammo-supply) quite differently and the only faction which may be somewhat inspired by Starcraft are the Silicons.
I got a used copy and played through a part of the Black Octopi campaign recently, but some kind of bug with the mission objectives did eventually stop me. Still, in spite of not being able to adjust the very slow mouse scrolling and uninspired mission design/objectives, I did mostly like it. Probably because of the unusual setting, but also because even the two human factions are different enough from each other to be interesting.
PurpleBastard So many fond memories of this game. I still break out my old Windows 7 laptop to play it from time to time. Would love to see it available for windows 10. GOG help us out!
