Max Payne is pretty glorious. It's amazing how well the tone is maintained despite the ridiculous character model and insanely overwritten prose. Definitely needs to be on GOG.

I Had Max Payne 1 for CD-Rom back in the day...... this should be fully remastered, music, art, menu, even the WTC on the skyline on the last phase of the game, building art, more detailed NYC, weapons. It should be available on Windows Vista,7,8 and Mac OS X if possible !

I loved the dark and twisted story that ran through Max Payne. The rest was just candy coating on top. I even bought this on the GBA so I could play a version on the move.

Max Payne widescreen stretches the image. It's not true support. I only want to buy this game again if they fix the widescreen so that it works correctly.

@badatvidyagames Max Payne has built-in widescreen resolution support up to 1920x1080. @DCT I never noticed missing sound/music on win7-64, but that might be related to my x-fi, don't know for sure. ------------- about the game: its a real classic. after playing max payne 3 i realized how awesome the first installment of the series was. it would be a great addition to GoGs game catalogue

This was just pure awsumness. What makes it worse is that even owning and original doesn't help because It isn't compatible anymore. I do not know if Rockstar is the owner of MP1, but since this was still Remedy it should be possible? You did manage to get Alan Wake on here. Please GOG, bring that defibrillator over nja and get this guy of the ground.

Woe the day when I switched to Windows 7 and the wonderful orchestra of sounds in Max Payne were silenced. No audio fix could bring it back to me, and I long for the day when I can enjoy the constipated face of Max accompanied by gunshots and screams again.
