First-person dungeon-crawler CRPG developed/published by Xtalsoft (Crystal Soft) in 1984 for many Japanese PCs. Hacking and translation will be needed for players to navigate the text-based town menu and operate within the dungeon (documentation would help, given how arcane the game plays).

Inspired by Wizardry, Chihiro Fujioka (known for directing Super Mario RPG and other projects when he later joined Squaresoft) authored this game alongside other small projects. Players must navigate many floors of a dungeon to locate a spell-book and free an entrapped princess from the titular dragon. Unlike Wizardry, you only control a single party member, and can choose from Thief, Merchant, and Fighter classes, each with varying skillsets. Battles are random, adding strange atmosphere to a neverending vista of arched blue hallways (scrolling rather well for the system specs). Lizard reflects Japanese developers' interest in classic Wizardry's systems, often at the expense of Ultima's influences overseas.
