Deponia: The Complete Journey
IT'S BEEN 9 YEARS C'MON
store.steampowered.com/app/292910/Deponia_The_Complete_Journey/
Now that The Complete Journey is out, it would be nice to see an upgrade offer on GOG.com for those of us who already own the individual games of the trilogy. Considering all the Daedalic titles that are still being released on GOG, would it really be that hard to convince Daedalic to release this as well?
I too wouldn't mind buying it again as a complete journey
and the Linux port pls!
Yes, it would be great to bring the "Complete Journey" to GOG. For STEAM there was even a limited time offer to get up to 90% discount on the "Complete Journey", if you already own all three parts. With version 3.2 the bug fixing is on the same level like the "Complete Journey", but there is still the thing with the content available in the "Complete Journey" only.
It is especially sad, that "DEPONIA 3: GOODBYE DEPONIA" has missing the soundtrack available in the "PREMIUM" version, if bought in other stores.
I want this too. I have all 3 games on GOG but having the developer commentary is a big PLUS. The fact that GOG users don't get this is a shame! The game would have been a lot more fun with it.
Many people are confused by this so I want to be absolutely clear:
If you purchase the Deponia Series on GoG.com you will NOT receive the full game.
Only Steam is selling the complete journey with all of the content.
That means extra storyline content that wraps up loose ends found in all copies on GoG.com will ONLY be available through Steam.
Daedalic has NO plans to bring this complete content to GoG.com
This is true as of the 3.2 update.
In fact, it is suggested that there will NO LONGER be anymore updates to Deponia games on GoG.com. 3.2 was to bring Deponia series up to the newest game engine.
I am a little upset at this news. This means I bought games that were incomplete, and I didn't know it at the time. In fact, I didn't know it until after it was impossible for me to return it.
I would appreciate if this thread was kept up on top so everyone knows, because the current sales information for these games don't explicitly address this issue.
