There and back again - Travellers' Tales8votes I like it
Cardian says: One of the first truly cinematic games I've played. Another World delivers an intriguing story and great locations. The graphics might seem a bit outdated, but they give you that nostalgia feeling.
Cardian says: Forget part 3 of the series. This is where the magic lies. The quest for the smoking mirror takes you to many different locations with clever puzzles and interesting characters.
Cardian says: Ah, good ol' Nazi Germany. Part 1&2 of the Commandos series deliver great tactical missions that are hard as hell. After playing this again, I still had starting troubles beating the first mission.
Cardian says: Two classic Jump'n'Runs that take you on different planets. The humour alone is worth playing the game. It also features a nice set of graphics and animations, as well as a cool soundtrack.
Cardian says: Well, Space, the final frontier, you know. Freespace 2 isn't so final, as it has tons to do for you and a vast amount of community mods to expand the experience even further.
Cardian says: Part 3 of this series takes us to France in search of a kidnapped child. It slowly builds up a very interesting story with great plot twists and intelligent puzzles.
Cardian says: Not so great of a game, but it belongs into this list of travel. Graphics aren't that great and puzzles aren't always logical.
Cardian says: The Kingdom of Daventry awaits with the best parts in the series. Great stories, great puzzles and a nice score makes these adventures so good.
Cardian says: MDK is some crazy action-fun. You get ridiculus weapons, strange enemies & huge bosses in worlds without loading times. Only downside is the small number of levels.
Cardian says: Myst is a classic, although I personally don't really like these kind of adventures with switch and mathematical puzzles. It still has some great places to offer in the different ages that you travel to.
Cardian says: This is one of the greatest games ever period. You're taken to an alien world with an immersive and well-structured plot that rivals most movie blockbusters. The graphics are nice and on current machines it can run in full detail. This is a musthave.
Cardian says: Follow the nameless prince into the depths of a persian palace to undo a curse that was set loose by yourself. With great gameplay and flawless level design you're immersed in an intriguing storyline.
Cardian says: Let's travel into the depths of the mind. In Sanitarium you don't know who you are, where you are and what is real. But you're probably crazy. A really interesting story is engulfed by cool locations with clever puzzles.
Cardian says: Simon has personality and humour. Many references to pop culture and other games will keep you smiling while trying to figure out the mostly clever puzzles in this game. The first two can be enjoyed, keep away from the rest.
Cardian says: After many years in hiding from the dark lord you return to the sunken city of Stonekeep. You will battle many foes in this RPG, find companions and unravel mysteries. For this price, you can't go wrong.
Cardian says: The greatest game in the Tex Murphy-series takes you into a nuclear future with mutants and hightech. Different paths and multiple endings depending on your choices add replay value to a game with great story, good actors and tons of movies.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
