Keftsmaell says: These games probably don't need an introduction. It is one of the most famous franchises in the genre. And with good reason! For me, this is the next best game in this magnificent series, and worth every second you spend in it.
Keftsmaell says: The best game in the series, and also one of the best games ever made. Easily. This is pure goddamn addiction in game form. Easy to play, hard to master, and never gets old. An immortal masterpiece. Period.
Keftsmaell says: Do you like Heroes of Might and Magic? Well, AoW might just be for you then. A bit more focus on management, many describe it as Heroes meets Civilization. Interested? Check it out.
Keftsmaell says: More AoW. If you're into that sort of thing. Both great games. And if you do end up loving these games, the first addition to the series is worth taking a look at too.
Keftsmaell says: Another series you could compare to HoMM. More focus on the units of the army themselves. They level up individually and you want to keep them alive - no cannon fodder here.
Keftsmaell says: Yet another sequel that improves on pretty much everything. It probably is the better choice if you're new to the series. Perhaps even the only game you need from it.
Keftsmaell says: More campaigns for HoMM3 - although this is a stand-alone package, mind you. These games are targeted toward a more casual audience, and therefore you won't find it as challenging. I find it to be worth the money though, if only for the story.
Keftsmaell says: You know about this game already, don't you? Yeah. That post-apocalyptic turn-based RPG that everyone talks about. You know why? It's one of the best damn games ever made. Yup, simple as that.
Keftsmaell says: *Insert above statement here*
Keftsmaell says: A classic. You like Age of Wonders? This is where that style started - kind of. Sure, it's old, and probably a bit harder to play because of it. Still worth it, though.
Keftsmaell says: Say, you don't like fantasy, like many games on this list are, but need some turn-based action anyway? Hop aboard the Jagged Alliance train then. Next stop, tactical strategy!
Keftsmaell says: WWII turn-based strategy game? Well then, if that sounds interesting, you've come to the right place. Play general to your heart's content.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
