Sierra Adventure Bonanza16votes I like it
shinmai says: Space Quest is one of the most humorous and exiting adventure game series of all time. Some of the games are Really difficult, but always fun and definitely challenging. A must try for all Adventure fans.
shinmai says: Of all the Sierra adventure games, my personal favourite has always, always been Space Quest 5. The fifth instalment is different from the rest of the series in being a pretty obvious parody of Star Trek.
shinmai says: Kings Quest is more serious than Space Quest, but no less exciting, varied and fun. Sierra co-founder Roberta Williams has designed every installment of the series. Begin a journey spanning through two generations in the Kingdom of Daventry here.
shinmai says: KQ 4 is pretty unique in that it plays in real time. The events in the game span some 24 hours, so... in a way King's Quest 4 is a predecessor to 24 the TV-series :) Only more interesting and interactive. The fifth game won GotY from CGW in 1991.
shinmai says: While maybe not remembered by as many the final part of the KQ saga, Mask of Eternity outsould Grim Fandango 2 to 1, and is an awesome conclusion to the series.
shinmai says: Gabriel Knight is an adventure game series no-one should not play! It's got a mysterious plot, interesting puzzles and one of the greatest lead characters ever. The game features beautiful, hand pixeled graphics and some of the best voice-acting ever
shinmai says: The seconds Gabriel Knight is completely different from the first, instead of 2d pixel graphics it tells it's story with digitized photography. Even if the presentation is completely different, the story is no less gripping.
shinmai says: The third game once again mixes things up, this time the game is in 3D, but Gabriel is back, and all secrets will be revealed as the truth of the Schattenjägers history is revealed.
shinmai says: Phantasmagoria is another of Roberta Williams gems. It's a horror adventure game quite different from anything else. The experience is well complete, with thrilling visuals, atmospheric soundscapes and one of my favourite soundtracks ever.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
