Outstanding Underrated Experiences1vote I like it
odyy says: Everyone talks about Amnesia, but honestly, Penumbra runs circles around it in narrative, atmosphere, puzzles, and even thrills. Much more engaging level design, a plot thicker than the iceberg that sank the titanic and a unique setting - excellent.
odyy says: Probably the best side-scrolling action game I've ever played in my entire life. What more needs to be said? This was made by ONE PERSON (except the voices) and deserves everyone's attention.
odyy says: Sure, this might not be all that underrated, but it is without a doubt the BEST D&D game out there, I don't think enough people get how great the gameplay is, the fantastic plot, the amazing mod capability and sweet world design.
odyy says: Alan Wake honestly falls short on a few key issues, which is what was bashed by critics, and that's mostly about the combat, which can be repetitive, and if you're not into convoluted narrative, then look away. Otherwise, a very atmospheric thriller.
odyy says: Tired of stealth games without any attitude? Riddick's got your back. AoDA makes up for it's fairly slow gameplay and plot progression with solid mechanics, good voice acting and even graphics that hold up today.
odyy says: It has a very classic 90's feel to it, which in my humble opinion, is a good thing, decent plot, interesting weapons mechanics, spooky setting and certainly better than the sequel.
odyy says: One of my favourite political sims, with a complex-at-the-start 'web' system of policies, a realistic concept of cause and effect, and a very clear display of your results make for one of the top management games out there.
odyy says: It's not GTA, but for a 'GTA clone' it's undoubtedly the best if you dislike the silliness of Saints Row. With solid graphics, good driving and shooting mechanics, interesting setting and plot and likable character, this is a must try.
odyy says: Definitely one of the darkest, wildest, weirdest stories around. With crazy good voice acting, risque elements, interesting and surprising multiple endings, and a very unique setting/plot, this game delivers on every level. Just not for everyone...
odyy says: You'll never find a better post-apoc shooter without RPG elements. Gripping atmosphere - you can truly feel the desperation and darkness, unique enemy design and high replayability make for a game you cannot miss...If you forget the voice acting.
odyy says: One of the most complex strategy games around - it's an orgy of mechanics and genres in one, you're bound to like SOMETHING about this game. It's intelligently designed in such a way to be thoroughly balanced for competitive play.
odyy says: One of the best co-op games out there - but that's one of the reasons it's rated so low; if you play it alone or with strangers, you simply won't enjoy it nearly as much. Grab three friends and enjoy!
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
