muttly13 says: I love all things Pirate! Tropico is a great city sim, really immersive in many ways with a solid, complex economic system. Tropico 2, well it is Pirates, but thats about the best it gets. Very simple and super easy, and neither in a good way.
muttly13 says: Nostalgia, plain and simple. A game I loved in my younger days. Loaded up today and did not age well. Control is somewhat cludgey but doable. If I never knew what it was I would be disappointed. If its something you enjoyed in the past, its okay.
muttly13 says: The game I still have the original disks for and kept alive through Win7 which finally defeated me. Problem solved! Truly one of the best games on the catalog. Mix of management and combat, considered and RTS to some, but thats a pale description.
muttly13 says: Know nothing of the Fallout franchise (this will change) so I was not "disappointed" with any changes in play style. I wanted an XCOM clone with some new graphics. Barring the lack of XCOMs backend economy, I got it! Great squad based combat.
muttly13 says: Pirates... duh. Wooo Hoooo! More reasonable info to come later when I stop playing.
muttly13 says: OK, not as good as Commandos in my mind. The blatant stereotyping and voice acting is hysterical though. You can tell this was a game created about US history by folks familiar with it through movies alone. All in all, glad I didnt pay full price.
muttly13 says: Frankly I am hoping this translates well to kids. I think they would love a train game and for 3 bucks I took a shot. Plus if they hate it, still looks like it would be a fun economy game for me.
muttly13 says: Soemthing I always wanted to play when it came out but never got around to. Described as CIV in a fantasy setting. I certainly think I would like that. Final verdict inbound...
muttly13 says: Unless you were under a gaming rock when this series was prominent, you played it. Personally I think MoO2 is one of the greatest 4x games ever produced and it was a CRIME multiplayer did not work well. Still oodles of fun to be had with both!
muttly13 says: Another gaming classic. SC1 is a bit dated now but still fun to play, especially if youre in it for the nostalgia. SC2 is still great regardless of your past as long as you can forgive its graphics when compared to current day. Launch Fighters!
muttly13 says: A hearty.... ehhh. Never played it in the past so no nostagila for me. All in all a pretty normal RTS with ghosts and goblins. Nothing to make someone totally new to the game come over here.
muttly13 says: A game i could never get to work properly on my old hardware but always liked the idea. Having played it now, its fun for a time. Simple to learn and the simplicity remains througout. The "build" path is easy to ID and replication is the end
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
