tothelighthouse says: King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride allows you to play both Rosella AND Queen Valanice. I can't think of another game which has a middle-aged female protagonist.

tothelighthouse says: Grace Nakamura, although not playable in this game, is a strong supporting character with a distinct personality. Unfortunately her entire motivation is to help Gabriel.

tothelighthouse says: Grace becomes a playable character in the 2nd Gabriel Knight game, although sadly her personality becomes more 2-dimensional. She has even less of her own motivations in this game and is entirely focussed on Gabriel.
