Trashware says: Ask me about the 90's game that has the best soundtrack ever and Descent will be the answer. It's fat, it's bouncy, it's spacemine-pounding-action-paced and totally in line with the overall style of the game.
Trashware says: I had a lot of fun with the Starcontrol soundtrack. Ripping the .MOD files, re-editing them in IT-Tracker and using the samples for new (non-profitable) tracks. But even without that all the songs are pretty memorable, especially that of the SC2 intro
Trashware says: The jazzy undertones of the SC2000 soundtrack are no less than perfect for this kind of game. But despite being mellow and.. backgroundy (yes, that's a word) the tunes have actually been stuck to my brain ever since.
Trashware says: Loved the game, loved the score. The synthetic strings are so pretty and add to the overall atmosphere. Arguably a bit too happy at some points, but to me it just adds to the cuteness of the character design. Together with the sound effects ofcourse.
Trashware says: I'm still a bit blown away everytime I play Unreal. At that time the graphics were the best I had ever seen: reflecting floors, particles etc. But it would never had made the same impression if it wasn't for the awesome, spacial moodsetting music.
Trashware says: After playing this games for hours, days, weeks on end one just can't help humming the background tune when trying to do something else.
Trashware says: Catchy melodic main theme that keeps popping up in my head from time to time. Yes, such a thing does help to immortalize a game. Or was it the witty writing and funny personalities?
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
