Games to avoid on GOG

Earthworm Jim 3D

tombert256's rating:
250

tombert256 says: I love Earthworm Jim on the Genesis and the DOS version is terrific. That being said, I *despise* this horrible transition to 3D. By itself it's not the worst game I've ever played, but in the comparison to the wonder Earthworm Jim 1 & 2...

BloodRayne

tombert256's rating:
250

tombert256 says: I never really saw the appeal of this game. I mean, everything about it is generic. The protagonist is your standard busty hotty, the levels are bland, the the gameplay is generic.

Messiah

tombert256's rating:
250

tombert256 says: This IS a good game. I really like it. Why is it on this list? Because it took me five hours to get this running correctly on my 64 bit PC, and I had to do it via a crack and a Glide emulator, which I why I say avoid it.

Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death

tombert256's rating:
250

tombert256 says: Can you say "cash-in"?

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare

tombert256's rating:
250

tombert256 says: Wow, this game looks an awful lot like Resident Evil....too bad it doesn't play as well, and too bad the story is even stupider. I love GOG, but not these games...avoid them and buy some other ones!

Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)

Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!

So, what are the ingredients?

Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?

Justify your choice... Or not!

OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
