Replayed and Retested....Games I still love

Ground Control Anthology

supertzar2069's rating:
250

supertzar2069 says: One of the first games I snagged after buying my first PC in 2000. Addictive, unique, and deceptively simple tactical goodness. Camera control is incredible, and it's still fun to play. Brutally challenging expansion pack makes for a very long game.

Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus Sp...

supertzar2069's rating:
250

supertzar2069 says: Excellent sequel, took me some time to get into it. The graphics are great, the maps super detailed. Oddly more influential than the original, with alot more options and a white knuckle single player campaign.

Freespace 2

supertzar2069's rating:
250

supertzar2069 says: The finest example of a virtually extinct genre. While most modern sims concentrate on exploration and flexability, this one puts you in the middle of a massive war. Looks and plays great, and is still amazing after a decade.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon®

supertzar2069's rating:
250

supertzar2069 says: I don't know how Tom Clancy managed to get so many good games developed of his stuff back in the day. This is a deceptively simple tactical shooter followed up by some excellent expansions and horrific sequels.

Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)

Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!

So, what are the ingredients?

Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?

Justify your choice... Or not!

OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
