Games I Grew Up With3votes I like it
Crazybear says: I bought this for Castles 2 alone. Haven't touched one. Castles 2 is a great strategy game. You are the king and all the decisions come down to you. Game actually has videos showcasing different castles. And yes you can build them too!
Crazybear says: One of the BEST point n click adventure games. Bonus as I believe that this is the talkie version that is fully voiced. Hours of fun with a gripping, adult, and intense story. Multiple endings and numerous puzzles. A real treat.
Crazybear says: Second in the series and just as good. Though a departure from the fully painted backgrounds and sprites. This is all full motion video. Still very pretty though and it does not take away from the story or the acting. Both spot on.
Crazybear says: Actually started with the second game in the series. All three are classic and should be given a shot. 3D doesn't age well, but for six dollars, you have to give it a look. Still worth it for the fun and the fact you get three games for six bones.
Crazybear says: OH MY GOD. GOG GOT EA! This is a huge time sink. Basically this game goes: here's a ship, here's a huge space empire to explore....GO! Go where you want, do what you want. Be a pirate, merchant, anything!
Crazybear says: See also Stonghold. Near perfect RTS games with beautiful graphics. I could just watch my citizens gather stuff all day long. Also includes economic missions with no combat, or face the computer outside of the main story. So many hours lost!
Crazybear says: OK the ONLY game that could unseat Gabriel Knight in my heart is this one. The story and setting are amazing and spooky. One of the last great point n click games. Really you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't check this out. Now.
Crazybear says: Point n click game from the same people that brought you Gabriel Knight. VERY ADULT story, you are warned. But for those brave enough to venture inside, this game is a real gem.
Crazybear says: Again, point n click games at there finest. Forget LA Noire (though it is great) this is a true police sim. Excellent story and engaging characters. This one is certainly worth it. Four games for 10 bucks, that is a steal!
Crazybear says: Only three stars because really, only a freak like me could love BOTH games. They are drastically different. One is a top down strategy game like Syndicate. The other is a full motion video point n click.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
