Zeus says: Combining the empire building of Civilization and the huge library of spells from Magic: The Gathering, this fantasy strategy game allows you to create your own wizard and conquer the dual planes of Arcanus and Myrror.
Zeus says: This vertical shooter is one of the first PC games I played and I was blown away by the graphics and gameplay. The $5 shareware demo (yes, I had to pay for the floppy) rivaled any full-priced game on SNES. It still ranks among my favorite shooters.
Zeus says: The dry wit of the narrator (who sounds like Leslie Nielsen) makes Space Quest 4 one of the funniest games ever made. Space Quest 6's SVGA graphics burst with detail; it mocks everything from Star Wars to Street Fighter. And you can actually win SQ5!
Zeus says: Not many Doom clones rivaled the original, but this crazy carnival ride easily ranks among the best first person shooters. Bottles can be blown off shelves, monks babble incomprehensible hilarity, and each weapon has an alternate fire mode.
Zeus says: Break out of the dungeon! Might and Magic games have a rich, sunny overworld teeming with large, well animated monsters. They were impressive back in the day, and they still hold up. Build a party and set off on a grand adventure. Witch, please.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
