ArcherDarks says: Post-Apocalyptic gaming that spawned the modern fallout 3. You won't get an FPS watered down by RPG bits here. The turn-based combat is what made me love this game, but the storyline is very interesting and there's plenty of lore to be dug up.

ArcherDarks says: A sarcastic adventure game that has lots of humor and a nice difficulty. Unlike most games of this type, you can actually die in this one. Definitely worth a play-through even if a strategy guide is used for the entertaining voice-overs.

ArcherDarks says: I actually just recently picked this game up, but it definitely holds up today because of the isometric art style and difficulty. If you can't get a tabletop game going, this is definitely a fitting alternative if you're a fan of the genre.
