Do you chew pens too?4votes I like it
arkan01d says: Highly under-rated game. Fairly fast-paced, a few simple puzzles, a lot of haywire magic, and a sprinkle of comedy. If you played Magika and found yourself wishing the game was more fun, try this.
arkan01d says: My all-time favorite chess game. Chess Master was never as fun as this. However, the AI is very predictable, but still fun with friends. Not sure if Gog has the good version... the one where the queens nipples poke out.
arkan01d says: Discard Castles 1. Castles 2 was my first kingdom management game. It has a very simple strategy, but still fun to play. Just don't attack the Pope.
arkan01d says: Descent Freespace 2 is the pinnacle of space flight / dog fighting combat. If you don't have a flight stick you will regret it.
arkan01d says: Stonekeep was my first CD-ROM game. It took nearly 10 minutes to load on my 386 and was hardly playable. However, I still remember just how much fun it is to play this game. I bought it on Gog a few months back and it did not disappoint.
arkan01d says: Ask yourself, "Why does this show up on everyone's list?" BG2 took all the good things from BG1 and made them better. The gameplay is easier, the strategy is nicer, the story doesn't stall. If you've never played this game... just play this gam
arkan01d says: What a relief it was to play a RTS that didn't copy Age of Empires! Spreading evil aside, the strategy is vastly different from the time honored: Build to population limit and attack. You will be forced to think. You will be forced to restart.
arkan01d says: The most fun I have ever had with a racing game! Did I mention how I hate racers? Kill your opponents, kill pedestrians, just don't ever try to finish the race, you will still win anyway.
arkan01d says: An over the shoulder, platforming, puzzleish game. You control 3 different characters that you switch between as the need arises. This game has a lot of comedy too. You will find yourself amused for many hours.
arkan01d says: Every played Civilization? This game is just like that, only not.
arkan01d says: I would have given this game 5 stars had I not replayed it last year. The controls are a little clunky and the lack of a rotating map makes it hard to click on things at times. However this game is still very fun to play!
arkan01d says: Before the X-series games there was Master of Orion. You start off with a crappy ship, you do odd jobs, and sell goods until you can afford a better ship. Good end game too.
arkan01d says: Stronghold is a very good mix of genres. Its a RTS that has the strategy of a Turn-based game. You build strongholds and fight off armies to control the whole of your divided empire.
arkan01d says: All I can say is wow. Got this game from Gog as a first time player. The first day I was frustrated beyond belief, but a little patience paid off. Next thing I knew I had become unresponsive to friends and family. I lost about a month of my life.
arkan01d says: Another puzzle platforming game. Full of comedy and killing. Don't play MDK 2 it will ruin it.
arkan01d says: Do you hid in dark corners of your house, laying in wait to scare your wife? Do you think archery is cool? If you answered yes, then this is the game for you!
arkan01d says: The Battlecry series was an attempt at a mix of genres that, for the most part, worked well. It's a RPG that focuses action over strategy and a RTS that focuses on hero management instead of overwhelming force. Definitely fun for a boring weekend.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
