Classic GOG Games Only3votes I like it
Hillsy_ says: Fantastic God-sim from 1997 by Bullfrog. Alot better than the sequel in my opinion. A time before Peter Molyeux ego got the better of him.
Hillsy_ says: Classic isometric action game.
Hillsy_ says: When all is said and done, this will be the game people return to for classic turn based strategy.
Hillsy_ says: Well constructed and executed game. Shadowed by it's Amiga counterpart, Cannon Fodder is still fantastic even today.
Hillsy_ says: Excellent introduction into the world of dungeons & dragons.
Hillsy_ says: A terrific recent turn based combat/real-time roaming strategy game. Even though the developers bought the license, it is based on the King Bounty game from 1990.
Hillsy_ says: Everything it's prequel was but better.
Hillsy_ says: The best space combat game by Chris Roberts. We can all learn something from the early days.
Hillsy_ says: Quality package, with Might & Magic 2 being the icing on the cake.
Hillsy_ says: Rollercoaster Tycoon is one of Chris Sawyer's greatest games. What Theme Park World should have been. Do check out Chris's other famous game, Transport Tycoon Deluxe; not available on GOG.
Hillsy_ says: There are others in this series which are equally as good, but I have included the 4-6 pack as it was part of the main collection I use to play alot. Classic gaming.
Hillsy_ says: Get ready for the prequel too, as both are considered classics by me.
Hillsy_ says: Baldur's Gate brought RPG back into the mix with superb visuals to match. Classic D&D RPG.
Hillsy_ says: Classic platformer which actually gives Mario a run for his coinage.
Hillsy_ says: An overlooked title from Sid Meier's early days. Excellent overall strategy game with an upgraded diplomacy system. It does look brown and bland, but underneath is a great game. Classic.
Hillsy_ says: Sim City 1 was good, but Sim City 2000 is still my favourite of the quadrilogy series. Great strategy game.
Hillsy_ says: Another overlooked FPS story driven adventure game. It was quite ambitious for its' time (1996). Excellent game throughout.
Hillsy_ says: It may not have the original concept of the first game, but Wing Commander 3 is a quality title which brought many redeeming additions to the classic space combat game.
Hillsy_ says: Along with the original X-Com games, still one of the best.
Hillsy_ says: Excellent FPS games. When I was younger I spent a good while between Doom and Descent.
Hillsy_ says: A classic, but it maybe gets alittle repetitive over time.
Hillsy_ says: Classic turn based strategy. Remember the first few on the Amiga well. Still some essential strategy gaming. Comparable in many ways to Advance Wars on the Nintendo.
Hillsy_ says: Fantasy Civilization and a classic for it's time.
Hillsy_ says: Excellent turn based strategy game.
Hillsy_ says: A fantastic strategy game by Bullfrog. One of my favourites from the Old Amiga days. I thought this was better than Syndicate Wars - the sequel.
Hillsy_ says: Still the best one.
Hillsy_ says: Classic role-playing, two of the best here. Now where is that third ash...
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
