Classic Adventure Games for the Soul10votes I like it
mclazyj says: Great adventure title with a rather deep narrative, fleshed out main characters and some crafty and devious puzzles.
mclazyj says: An introduction to one of the greatest creations to come from the mind of Jane Jensen. Gabriel is a great main character, trapped in a past he wants no part of, yet cannot escape.
mclazyj says: Probably the only game to come out of the FMV (full motion video) era that was actually good. Again, Jane Jensen takes from real world events and twists them enough to create a complex narrative.
mclazyj says: While the first three KIng's Quest titles were fantastic, 4-6 is where the series really crafted some of its best story themes and elements. Also, it was one of the first time's a strong female lead was present in a game.
mclazyj says: Basically, a game that will possibly scare the crap out of you. Disturbing, frightening, and deranged all in one package. Just beware of some of the worst voice acting ever in a game.
mclazyj says: While 5 and 6 are good games in the Space Quest series, the whole reason to get this pack is for Part 4. Gary Owens providing voice over and some of the funniest writing in the series. A cult classic for the ages.
mclazyj says: The sequel is good, but if you have to pick one of the games in the series, this is the one to get. Kate is a great character and her search for the truth is told in a fantastic manner.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
