drewmaxon says: For turn based fantasy strategy, ...it is the best. Why is this better than HOMMII? It is just a matter of a couple more bells and whistles. (However, nothing beats the music from HOMM2) The on-line community maps/campaigns are awesome too.
drewmaxon says: I have played them all...including "Wasteland" on the Apple IIe back in college. ( I have played video games/computer games for 34yrs) I mostly play RPG's... I will rate all of the "Fallout's" here. 1) FO3, 2) FO4, 3) FO2, 4) FO1 5) wasteland
drewmaxon says: For gamers like me these games are comfort food 1) easy to play 2) easy to get sucked in like a good book 3) I also believe there were good community maps. also just be careful, there will be times that you look up and see it getting light outside.
drewmaxon says: The Gothic series is just a must play for RPG fans. The best thing is that from 1 thru 4, the graphics and game play aren't too different, so it is one of those series you can play from beginning to end without it looking like different games.
drewmaxon says: I doubt anyone needs to know anything about these, including Neverwinter, etc...
drewmaxon says: I think I loved this game....it has been years, and I don't replay games...hardly ever.
drewmaxon says: Same as above, but I think I either hated the ending, computer crashed, or was too dumb to figure out end game...don't remember...but remember it was one I loved at some point.
drewmaxon says: There was nothing better in the beginning. (I had to do my own mapping on graph paper in MM2) ...ok..the Ultima series was its contemporary...these two series were the top of RPG's for years.) I don't know if they are replayable for me now.
drewmaxon says: pretty cool, too easy, had awesome potential, really wish they had an Arcanum II. for $6 it is a must play. wish it was bigger too.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
