Alexh says: Is quite possibly the most intellectually stimulating RPG created thus far, a fascinating story, some really exotic and well written characters and a haunting musical score make this easily one of the best games ever made.
Alexh says: The final Infinity engine game has a superb atmosphere coming from it's art, music and even sound effects. You design an entire party and set forth to stop the horde. The first chapter is one of the best openings to any game ever. Linear but great
Alexh says: Humourous and grim in equal measure, Fallout 2 is easily one of the best ever examples of a non-fantasy RPG. The New Reno section in particular is superb.
Alexh says: The story here is a tad-limp, but if you ignore that you get to experience the most faithful, satisfying and tactically challenging implementation of the D&D rules ever put into a game and the experience is well worth it for that alone.
Alexh says: Neverwinter Nights itself is a hue but not particularly deep campaign, yet still fun and satisfying. Shadows of Undrentide is decent, but the real gem of this package is Hordes of the Underdark - a very fun expansion, but play the rest first!
Alexh says: Although the ruleset is clunky, Icewind Dale is a great game - as with its sequel the environments and music are beautiful, not to mention the rest of the artwork, the one thing is has over it's sequel though is a very fun twist at the end.
Alexh says: I didn't include Baldur's Gate 1 on this list as I feel though a good game, it is far more notable as a founder of a legacy than as a game in itself. Baldur's Gate II is an entirely different beast - superb in character, story and art.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
