Adventure and Exploration6votes I like it
SnipeyMcGee says: A great idea, a well made and under-appreciated game. With a rich world to dive into, Gothic sets the stage for some excellent, moody adventuring. It's difficulty curve may be steep- but the sense of accomplishment for success is outstanding.
SnipeyMcGee says: Taking the open-world gameplay of the first Gothic even farther, it's Gold Edition sequel is one of the most satisfying, engaging adventures I've ever played. The controls do bog down the experience at the start, but it is immersive and gripping.
SnipeyMcGee says: An excellent story in a fascinating setting, Arcanum is a wonderful CRPG which houses a setting so rich it still feels innovative. However, bland background visuals and poor balancing do mar the otherwise fascinating experience. Worth many replays.
SnipeyMcGee says: While Baldur's Gate 2 and Planescape: Torment might hold the throne as the best CRPGs, the original Baldur's Gate is till an awesome experience. Bioware's humble beginnings in Candlekeep set the stage for nearly unparalled adventure. Amazing game.
SnipeyMcGee says: Stuck in a parallel dimension between Tomb Raider and Mass Effect, Outcast is a game that is stunning with how ahead of it's time it was. Stunning soundtrack and stellar voice acting aside, the entire game is one of innovative quality. A must-have.
SnipeyMcGee says: More like an interactive visualization of a novel, Betrayal at Krondor takes some time to get used to. It's outdated visuals are easily forgotten as you explore the world and get to know some of the best characters in gaming. CRPG fans must-have.
SnipeyMcGee says: Septerra Core is the west's take on a JRPG. With an artstyle in common with Panzer Dragoon, Septerra Core is an entertaining if flawed game. Occasionally drab, repetitive combat does give way to a very fun adventure.
Treat your GOGmix as your child - name it! ;)
Coming up with a cool and descriptive title should be your first priority. Being original is in your best interest - bet you wanna get lots of nice votes, right? Go all crazy if you want, but be sure to keep it civil!
So, what are the ingredients?
Pick a game that belongs in your GOGmix from the list, or find it by typing something in the text field. Relevance is key here - Earthworm Jim doesn't quite fit the "Sexiest heroines of all time" bill now, does it?
Justify your choice... Or not!
OK, so it's not required, but now that you went through the trouble of adding a game, telling everyone why you did it would be a nice finishing touch. After you're done here, add another game, rinse, repeat.
