desperados 1 is one of the best games I ever played. But this game is an offence to the first. Bugs everywhere, bad attempt of real 3d environment, stupid AI, weird fps parts. Play the first one instead, only buy this if you loved the first one and want to know how things went on.

The first one was a true gem. This sequel was fun but on the technical standpoint, it's flawed. I don't want to spoil the story, but if you really really liked the first one you can chugger through this sequel without too much disappointment. I would recommend you buy it but if you haven't got the first one, go out and buy that one first.

The only reason why I generously give it two stars, is that I never bothered finishing thus I can't rule out that the phelgm turn into gold in the end. Where to begin? First the plot is absolutely terrible. The first one ended with an awesome and quite definitive western conclusion. So in order to make a sequel they had to pick up somewhere new, which dosen't make any sense! Suddenlyread more new character are introduced with a casual familiarity like you are supposed to know who they are, whilst ohers are removed without explanation or apparent reasoning. Next up comes the glitches, poor use of 3D grapics and completely new and very different voice acting, which is not only annoying for fans of the first, but often completely alters the apperance and personality of the original charcters. As I said I never finished the game, but what i did try I would give no more than half a star. Play the first one and try to fantasize that they never made any sequels.
