SPELUNKY! Back to PC Where it belongs.

WARNING: This game is highly addictive!
A platforming roguelike where you constantly die because you get mislead into thinking that you're in your groove/element, but you've just gotten comfortable and inattentive sucker :P
Some games have massive lists of achievements that draw you in... In spelunky, just try to resist all that shiny treasure you 'COULD' be taking with you... DAMNITread more YOU'VE GOT TO TRY!!!
*Death ensued.
One thing I never got though is that the psvita version allows proper split screening (between devices) why was that not possible having obviously had time to implement such a feature for the multiplayer across the board since it's very successful release on the xbox?
It doesn't let it down though the game holds it's own as a single player by all rights and any and all multiplayer functionality is going to be well recieved.

Tough Love

Spelunky is a completely crazy rougelike/2D platformer game. Whole point of this game is to beat 4 main levels with 4 floors each and to possibly get as much gold as you can. Every level have different enemies, layout and traps. Death is permanent and with every death you start in completely different place, because floors are generated randomly.
During your journey you canread more collect a lot of interesting items that will help you out like bombs, ropes or a more rare like compass or shotgun.
It sounds pretty simple but it is not. Spelunky is insanely difficult game and I mean it. You will die because of enemies, traps, bad luck or your own bad ideas (like jumping on a carnivorous plant as this humble reviewer). Even after 100 deaths you just want to play more. It is so incredibly enjoyable that it won't bother you that you just died and have to start over again. Often you will just be laughing at how you died.
Besides single-player mode you can also play deathmatch with bots or friends or just play co-op. The biggest disadvantage is that with no internet connection needed to play this game you cannot use Leaderboards or Daily Challenges and this may be a huge flaw for more competitive players.
Music is nice, graphics are just like on the screenshots so only thing that is left for me is to recommend Spelunky with my whole heart. It is addictive, insanely hard but most importantly incredibly fun game!

This game is a must have!

This game hooks you from the first minute you stumble into the mines. The fact that its randomly generated and that its a game that relies outright on skill makes it the perfect timekiller. Its just amazing how the games makes you learn about new dangers and obstacles all the time. You are going to suck at the beginning and gradually get better, but the levels increase in difficultyread more every level, and you have to learn as you go, some things you learn simply by dying. The interesting thing is that you never really level up or anything, you have the same abillities later in the game as in the beginning, so the game never helps you in any way, it is just pure skill and experience from the layouts, enemies and the landscape. You can play 4 player local co-op too, which you can use to ur advantage or ur doom, anyhow it is ton of fun and can lead to lots of funny situations.
If you like video games, you should get this, its as simple as that. Anyone can love this.
