Snapshot is the tale of a lone robot lost in an abandoned world. Armed with only his trusty camera, Pic sets forth on his great adventure. A camera might not seem like enough for a puzzle platforming adventure, but this camera is different from most: it has the ability to capture and remove from the world the very objects that it photographs. Not only that, but it can also use its powers to paste the photos it took back into the environment!
Everything that the camera captures is perfectly preserved, and when the photos are restored the objects are restored with it. On top of all of that, this amazing camera can also rotate the photos before they're pasted. Take a picture of an incoming fireball, rotate it and paste it to send it flying into a wall of heavy boxes to knock it out of the way. See what kind of crazy things can happen to Pic with his awesome (and probably magical) camera during the adventure of his life!
Grab this adorable platformer and step into a beautiful pixel-art land of adventure, space-bending fun, and puzzle challenges!

A very charming platformer with simple yet unique mechanics. The controls are tight and intuitive, and I love the artwork and music. At the 4.99 I paid, I consider this a bargain.
A side rant: With every indie release being accompanied by so many complaints, I sometimes think I'm the only one who appreciates the new as much as the old. The indie titles that GoG hand picks areread more usually VERY good games that often emulate a retro "feel" (i.e. Grimrock, The Real Texas, etc). They take nothing away from the classics that continue to be added weekly, so do quit bitching.

The camera mechanism takes a little getting used to. It's a very innovative game idea! It's basically a puzzle game with a little bit of physics (if you drop a cube, it will rotate and bounce off of stationary objects) in a side-scrolling platform environment. The puzzles are challenging, but fair. Nice soundtrack. The graphics are beautiful and the animation is smooth. Supports gamepad controllers. Give it a try!

Snapshot's camera system is what makes this platformer unique and challenging.
Every level is beautiful and cleverly made each with their own puzzles and secrets. The game also features a time trial for each level and personally I find this the most challenging part of the game.
Gameplay in Snapshot is easy, you control the robot with the keyboard and the camera with the mouseread more and if you wish you can also rebind the keys.
The game boasts very nice 2D graphics, object physics and an awesome soundtrack.
If you're looking for something fresh in the platform genre you won't be disappointed with Snapshot.
