When developers were proud to make truly unique games...

As with other iconic Bullfrog products, Magic Carpet is a unique game which was way ahead of its time and still stands out as a true gem. A blend of action combat, magic and tactics all together in a fast paced and incredibly atmospheric mix is a must play for all of you who haven't played it yet and a must-replay for all the rest:).
The game can be a bit challenging but once youread more take firm hold of your... well, carpet and find out what the individual spells do, you won't want to let go. It is just that good.
So, visit your local store and buy some quality carpet, because you will be sitting on it for a long while. Enjoy

Huge improvements

As much as I enjoyed Magic Carpet 1, I had great difficulties getting it to run at appropriate speeds, especially in high-res mode (press R in game).
I'm happy to report MC2 has no such problems, and seems to be working flawlessly. These games are very unique, and a lot of fun to play. If you give them a chance and look past the graphics (I actually really like the way they look),read more you'll be hooked.
MC2 even starts with a nice tutorial, making it more noob-friendly than the previous.
