Cryo Interactive was well known for two things: Beautiful and lush graphics, amazing render sequences, atmospheric and interesting soundtracks and ... crude, boring, weird or outright bad gameplay. Their games were all about looks and nothing else.
So, the Atlantis adventures do look good, even all those years ago, the music is very good. Take a walkthrough, just follow every step, read more don't bother to try playing the game by yourself (lots of illogical puzzles, VERY unfair gameplay sequences with lots of dying during boring trial & error) and enjoy a gourgeously looking movie, err, game.
1 point for gameplay.
5 points for the looks and the music.
Makes only 2 points, because the game itself does REALLY suck.

I got this game on CD a year or two ago, and had a miserable time with it. There were three main problems with it:
1. Dying: You will die A LOT in this game if you don't have a walkthrough open at all times, and also probably quite often if you do. In the first hour of play, I died no less than ten times, every time for trivial reasons of timing or because the limited camera anglesread more did not allow me to see a hostile guard in the area. I eventually reached a point in the game where I was required to run up a flight of stairs and cut a rope in order to proceed, but no matter how many times I attempted it, I was always too slow and always got killed by a knife-thrower. I stopped playing there; I could go no further, and I had had enough.
2. Counter-intuitive puzzles: Puzzles in this game range from insultingly easy (give the item to the person who specifically asks for the item) to impossibly hard (messing around with an orrery to give it a specific configuration that you probably will not be able to divine on your own), with every one I dealt with falling at one of the two extremes. Let us not forget that if you do not observe your environment and act quickly to solve a puzzle, you will die. Again.
3. Generally bad voice acting and animation. This game does not come as visually outstanding for the time it was made. Worse, animated figures that you're talking to tend to sway a lot, and quickly, shifting left and right like they're trying and failing to dance. Add to this a lacklustre vocal performance, and suddenly this game has no real saving graces.

In my opinion there is very little to like in this game. The graphics were very nice for their time, the story isn't too bad and some of the puzzles were fun. But unfortunately the bad points outnumber the good points by a lot.
The voice acting is generally poor and sometimes terrible. Control is frustrating - you have to centre an item in your view in order to interact with itread more - really you can't move the cursor you have to move you view around.
You can't choose when to save your game - the game auto saves instead. As a result whenever you die (and you will die a lot) you will probably have to repeat what you just did over and over.
Although some puzzles can be fun, many aren't - and quite often you will get stuck because you don't realise that that you can interact with something because you didn't centre it correctly.
I didn't completely hate this game when I played it years ago but there was very little I liked about it. There are much better games out there and unless you have played every good adventure game I wouldn't recommend this one.
