Hey guys,

For our last few PC games, we've created and pinned threads specifically to allow people to report bugs or make suggestions for post-launch improvements, and this has been quite successful at helping us keep everything in one place for easy reference, resulting in quicker bug-fixes and happier players! ;)

So, if you've got any bugs you've encountered in Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection, or any gameplay concerns you have that you think we might be able to address, please let us know here, and we'll look into them as soon as we can.

Hopefully, this topic will help make the gameplay experience a little smoother and a little better for everyone, so please, don't hold back: let us know what we can do to improve things for you.

Thanks!

-Tom
I'm new to the series and I just bought this game recently. Is there a way to make it full screen or larger? The window seems kind of tiny. The game seems great though, but I was hoping I could expand it to 1920x1080

Check the config options in the launcher. Untick windowed Mode for true fullscreen. The checkbox is right next to the resolution selection dropdown.

Yeah, I suspect you might not have even realized there IS a launcher, since it doesn't automatically pop up. If you go into the game folder, though, you should find a config exe you can run, which will allow you to adjust a whole host of settings.

THANKS! Game just got 10x better :)
I would just like to point out/remind that the game is still outdated over here.
Could you please look into it Wyrdwad?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, we're well aware. I don't know what the holdup is, though, so I'll see what I can find out.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

No worries! Those just lag behind Galaxy a bit, since they require updates on GOG's side that have to be scheduled in. But they'e coming!

Thanks for letting us know about this, and sorry to have let it go for so long without an update!
Hey there, it seems that there's a bizarre game crash when you sometimes enter the G-Colosseum to go the arena in the Ilvard region (the one in the Mines, as reference). I haven't seen it elsewhere in the game but it does seem to hard crash and return to desktop if you attempt to enter the arena after completing a dungeon.

Could this get looked into?

Additional information: Warping into the G-Colosseum also risks a crash of the game, returning to desktop as well

there is no arena on arges side
Heads-up to the XSEED peeps - when I use the High Res art assets, the email app gets all bugged out. It still shows the text, but there's not actual border around it. I attached a screenshot of my screen so that you can see what it looks like!

Thanks for the reports, and sorry for any trouble you've been experiencing! I've passed these along for review.

Bandit5: I'm not sure if you intended that to be a bug report, but this topic is actually about the other Zwei game, The Ilvard Insurrection. It is not a bug, however, that The Arges Adventure has no arena, as Arges Adventure was developed in 2001 originally, while Ilvard Insurrection was developed in 2008. The battle arena was a new feature introduced for the sequel.
OK, the project lead for this title looked into the crash issue surrounding the G-Collosseum, and he has a few followup questions. In his own words:
Okay. I've been unsuccessful in triggering a crash going from between the G-Colosseum and the outside entry area, as well as from between the outside entry area and the gate near the start of the Secundum Mines. Additional data I'd like is as follows:

1. The original report mentions teleporting there "after you complete a dungeon." What is meant by "completing a dungeon"? Is it when you finish a single branch of a dungeon and get a gold/silver/bronze reward? Is it after you defeat a dungeon boss but before you warp out of a dungeon? More detail is needed here.

2. The report makes it sound like the crash is caused by zoning between connected areas around the G-Colosseum (either of the two zone gates mentiond above), but saying it happens after "completing a dungeon" makes it sound like it's an issue zoning in via teleports. Which is it? Or, is it both?

Basically, what I want to know is where you were when you crashed, what you had last done before entering the zone gate/teleporting, and what your destination was (i.e. going into the Colosseum, going out of the Colosseum, teleporting from a boss lair into the Colosseum, going from the outside area of the Colosseum back into Secundum Mines, etc).
If you're able to provide this information, we can look into this issue a bit more thoroughly.
Hey there, thanks for the reply.

Regarding the stuff you posted back to me, I can't seem to replicate the issue if I just go through the dungeons after key parts of the story has passed (as in loading up the game and trying to do the glitch once again) , but it only seems to happen when a cutscene is triggered after completing an entire required dungeon. That is the only thing I can think of... It may also be if you played the game for a while (as in you managed to trigger a few cutscenes during the story) - but I'll have to check some other time to find out regarding the exception crash (into G-Colisseum's "lobby" of sorts)

However in spite of this, I did somehow manage to get a bizarre bug another way, as you can see talking to the attendant at the Arena/Colisseum, the menus bug out, and this is the only time where I've seen assets missing and a bit of slowdown. this was by doing a few complete dungeons, somehow I managed to get this glitch show up instead - I left the attachment below to show this.

If this cannot be re-enacted it's probably my GTX 670 showing its age and you might not need to worry about it as much. Thanks for a great game in spite of some issues that I have been having!
