I just saw XCOM 2 and all of it's DLC is on sale right now at multiple places like Steam and here at GOG. The others are selling the XCOM 2 Collection which is everything in one bundle for a discounted price. While on GOG only has everything available individually. Is GOG not able to sell it as a bundle or will it possibly be coming or available in the near future?

I have the same question.
Also if I buy the base game now will I get a discount if (hopefully when) GOG offers the collection?

I'm not a GOG employee or otherwise in the know.

If I recall correctly, XCOM 2 has been available since March and all the "parts" of the game have been sold individually since that release date. I obviously don't know what GOG is planning, but I can't see any reason why they would be bundling it "in the near future" if they hadn't done it at launch or since then.

You can get the entire collection on sale for $20 on the other site, or $35.25 on gog. I like to call that the gog tax.

Yeah but with the GoG version of a game you usually also get lack of updates or an incomplete game (like no-coop, less DLC, no support for either Mac/Linux) so in the end it's worth it. :) :(
Felt like it's high time to bump this thread...

C'mon, GOG and Take 2, don't you want money? I for one want to give it to you but the unfairness of the price here compared to other places for XCOM2 is stopping me from making us all happy :) sure I'm not the only person...

You don't have to make it a bundle with a standalone store page, just create an additional (competitive I might add) discount when all the items are in the cart and voila )

A little late on the reply lol, but maybe it'll be useful to someone.

GOG had a bundle type discount a while back that came out to $23.47 that included the base game + expansions & DLCs.

I don't recall the exact details of the sale, but I think you had to select all the individual items to get the max discount (not 100% sure).

Anyway, that's the amount I paid, according to the receipt. So, it could happen again, you never know.

Steam had the full collection on sale for a cheap price and GOG still doesn't have a full XCOM 2 complete bundle.
xcom 2 the collection is $6.99 on another site
only on sale for 15 hours

still wondering why it's not offered here on GOG
